Good news everybody, I've found a way for you to read this in my voice. Just kidding. Anyway, I have an upcoming match with my cousin again. As you may already know from previous RMT's, I dislike conventional teams. I like building teams based around a certain strategy. Also, I've been outside of the game too since my Wi-Fi connector broke and I kind of quit Pokemon to play League of Legends. So, I'm like rusty with the metagame (and I'll probably need a lot of revisions) especially with the addition of HG/SS; however, the only thing that really changed (that I'm aware of) in OU is Dragonite. With that said, let's go back to the RMT of my Gravity-based team.

By the way, the name was this one name I came up with when I had to help someone create a guild in a game. He didn't use it and I thought I'd use it here for no reason...

EDIT: I updated my team.

Forretress @ Leftovers
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP, 112 Atk, 144 Def
Nature: Relaxed (+Def, -Spd)
-Gravity
-Spikes
-Zap Cannon
-Earthquake

Okay, so here's my physical wall. I set up Spikes when they need to switch out. Earthquake is powerful now thanks to Gravity and Zap Cannon has a high chance of paralysis.

Blissey @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 HP, 252 Def, 6 SpAtk
Nature: Bold (+Def, -Atk)
-Gravity
-Softboiled
-Fire Blast
-Blizzard

So, this is the basis of my team. Walls half the metagame and doesn't afraid of anything. Fire Blast is here to take out Scizor on switch-ins. Blizzard is also here to take advantage of Gravity. Serene Grace could work here since most people don't really place a status on Blissey.

Salamence @ Life Orb
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 Atk, 252 Spd, 6 HP
Nature: Jolly (+Spd, -SpAtk)
-Dragon Dance
-Dragon Rush
-Crunch
-Earthquake

Standard Physical Salamence here. Dragon Rush for better use from Gravity.

Heracross @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Guts
EVs: 252 Atk, 252 Spd, 6 HP
Nature: Jolly (+Spd, -SpAtk)
-Megahorn
-Close Combat
-Stone Edge
-Earthquake

One of my favorite pokemon in the entire game. The Gravity will certainly help out the poor accuracy of Heracross's moves though. Hopefully, my other pokemon will paralyze enough pokemon that I can sweep effectively.

Shaymin @ Life Orb
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 32 HP, 252 SpAtk, 223 Spd
Nature: Timid (+Spd, -Atk)
-Seed Flare
-Leech Seed
-Rest
-Grass Whistle

Time for some sweepan' Shaymin. I was always interested in using this guy ever since I read that one war story with the Shaymin sweeping for the win. Seed Flare will guarantee Special Defense drops. Leech Seed and Grass Whistle will cause some shuffling. Rest and Natural Cure for the one turn heals.

Starmie @ Life Orb
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 6 HP, 252 SpAtk, 252 Spd
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Gravity
- Hydro Pump
- Blizzard
- Thunder

My final member. He's here to counter my Infernape weakness and support with Gravity/Thunder.

On a side note, my team really counter status effects while it uses status effects.

Eh, I have a lot of pokemon weak to Fire, but I'm hoping Blissey, Starmie and Salamence are enough. I could always put a Suicune or Heatran in.

I can't rate your team...cause I don't Pokemon anymore.

You play LoL? I kinda stopped that too...because I have no one to play with :( They play HoN or DotA.

But I must say, I would prefer Stealth Rocks over Spikes...unless you are positive that you will get three in every game. Actually it doesn't hurt to have both O_o but I don't really see both fitting on your team.

Arec! My man, how you doing?

I don't play Pokemon much either anymore. When Black and White come out, I might actually stop playing LoL. Anyway, LoL is so addicting. I never played HoN or DotA, but I think denying is a dumb mechanic anyway.

Like I might have to reconsider the pokes I've picked on my team because I have a HUGE weakness to Infernape at the moment. I really dislike Dusknoir at the moment, but I might consider him.

Ugh...

Spikes is fine as long as Gravity is up most of the time.
