learn how to port forward your wii and do it already lol
Not only will it cut way back on the lag, but I'm not fighting you until you do. Our Brawl matches were very very laggy and these will be as well if you don't do something about it. I port forwarded mine and my matches had no lag whatsoever.
Also, I mean it when I say you shouldn't have shit like bittorrent running while gaming online. It devours your bandwidth. You want as little using the internet as possible. No torrents, netflix, none of that stuff. I'm guessing you didn't disconnect and close bittorrent before playing online.
I don't have a wired connection for my wii because my electronics setup makes that impossible, but if you can connect your Wii via LAN adapter, that helps even more.
Lastly, it helps to just have a good connection. Find a website that tests your ping and see that the number is low (below 30 within your own state is acceptable; the lower the better. Anything over that is generally unacceptable if you plan on gaming with anyone outside that area, as the ping will skyrocket.)
Edit: The above kinda looks pretentious on top of snarky, and I don't mean to come off that way. It's just that in the past you've shown an... unwillingness to look things up or do things that weren't totally necessary, so I thought I had to stress the importance.
FIGHTAN GAEMS are no fun when button delay has anything to do about it! Neither you or I needs that shit while we're trying to better ourselves!
