Forums · Does anyone have an event Regigigas I could borrow?
My brother bought Platinum recently and would like to get the Regis, but unfortunately I'm ill-equipped to help him do that. So if anyone's feeling generous, I'd like to borrow one (temporarily of course, not for keeps). I'm willing to use a Lugia as collateral. FC's 5154-9419-6059.
Edit: I just remembered that the Regigigas is needed to catch the Regis themselves, and my brother hasn't done the Battle Zone yet, so this'll have to wait. I'd still like to know if someone can do it, though.

Since it isn't going to be kept, and all it's wanted for are the Regis, I can just hack one with Fateful Encounter checked, which is all that's needed to trick the game (same for Skymin and earning its flower.)

And hang on, I've been told you could get the Gracidea even through a Shaymin obtained via a legit Oak's Letter (the Wi-Fi one). So I take it that's not true?

IIRC, Serebii said the Shaymin caught in Platinum with the Oak's Letter would activate the Glacidea Flower event, but not a Shaymin caught in the original two (D/P). So that's the only way without using the other method I can't remember >_>
As for a Gigas, you should ask someone on IRC for it, maybe they have one. Probably won't, but it's worth the shot.

I'm only double posting because an edit would likely go unnoticed, but there's been a change in plans and he's got the three Regis now, so I can send it back to you. Can't do it tonight because I'm about to go to sleep, but if you can do it tomorrow night, then tell me.
Yep, 8 PM will be okay. I'm going out for some errands before though, but if I'm late, it won't be by too much.
Edit: Well, I'm back... didn't take too much time despite the annoying mix of rain and snow. If anything I'm glad there's been no snow up until today. So anyway, I'll be there on time.
Edit 2: Heh, looks like you're even earlier than I am. I would've been there a few minutes earlier, but my USB dongle had trouble working. Anyway, thanks a bunch! My brother was getting demotivated constantly failing to catch the runners, so a little confidence boost was most welcome.
