Ok hear me out guys, as this is just an idea. I am not a guy that goes on this sites IRC at all so not up to date on whose all there or something, or who even plays pokemon.
Here I would like to note that you SHOULD KEEP READING AND DON'T PRESS THE BACKSPACE BUTTON.

But the idea here is like kinda a reunion tournament, which is a tournament where EVERYONE and I mean EVERYONE here should join to play. Personally I really haven't played pokemon in a year. Yeah I tried to get back into in December, and posted some RMTs, but I only played like a couple matches and hardly played it at all.

This isn't meant to be like a serious tournament at all, as a bunch of people on the site just trying this tournament for kicks, just to see how well they can play at pokemon again. AND SERIOUSLY everyone should join, even if you've never played pokemon before too and you are on this site, I am prepared to do terrible in it, but it doesn't matter as its just a zany fun tournament just for all of us to at least play pokemon again. Then after this tournament or something we can all forget it again.

This was just an idea, and maybe hey, some of you guys do still play the pokemon game competitively, but if we haven't then I just want to know how this idea flys by you guys and see if you're up to it.

I mean jeez I will be happy with like six people that show interest by the way this site looks with pokemon overall. Ok.

Well, I'm game. As long as you can get at least 8 or more people. (I've tried getting back into pokemon like 3 days ago) I was able to last for about 20 seconds before I closed Shoddy.

I'll participate as long as it's done on Shoddy. I restarted my Pearl a week ago, and I'm not going to be able to raise a team anytime soon.

I really haven't done much competitive battling, though. I'm good at theorymon, but not execution. If it's just for fun, though, I'm in.

The main rules will be the current OU (although it'd be funny if we played back at the Chomp era last year) and then should we have single elimination or best out of three?

This will be all on shoddy too, probably on the Smogon server as its just the standard now, unless we have any objections.
