For some reason, today my ds lite started being weird. It only charges when on, it will charge when a gameboy advanced game is playing, and when a ds game is playing, but not when a ds game is playing and the ds light is shut. I checked it on google to no avail, if anyone knows what the problem is and maybe how I can fix it, it would be a huge help.

I can't claim to know much about electronics, but are you sure it isn't charging? The system may just have a faulty LED. The DS may still be charging regardless of the state of activity, just not giving any visual hints that it might be.

Anyway, it's most likely what Shadian Vise said. The LED might be fault since you can charge during certain instances. You can easily test this by playing your DS 'til it's dead and charge it. If it will turn on...then viola!

Might be a problem with one of the fuses.

I'd contact Nintendo to get the best possible answer.
