Okay, my Trick/Explosion team actually has a pretty good record. However, I did run across a Flygon that devastated my team. I decided to build a team around Flygon seeing as how good it is now that Garchomp is gone. However, the more I thought about my team, the more I drifted away from it. I ended up with this, but when I look at this, it just blows my mind how much synergy this team has.

Bronzong @ Macho Brace
Ability: Heatproof
EVs: 252 HP / 84 Atk / 80 Def / 92 SpDef
Sassy nature (+SpDef, -Spd)
-Trick
-Stealth Rock
-Gyro Ball
-Earthquake

Alright new lead here. Macho Brace screws up every pokemon pretty much. SR for support to start up my TSSG. Earthquake to hit those who fall onto the ground due to Gravity. Heatproof over Levitate because of Gravity. I'm thinking about placing Hypnosis on one of my attack moves for an easier switch-in for Ttar.

Tyranitar (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Sandstream
EVs: 252 Hp/52 Atk/ 176 SpAtk/28 Spd
Quiet nature (+SpAatk, -Spd)
-Substitute
-Focus Punch
-Dark Pulse
-Thunderbolt

Set-up Sandstorm then Substitute. Then I focus punch to deal massive damage. Thunderbolt for better coverage

Skarmory (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Keen Eye
EVs: 252 Hp/ 64 Atk/ 176 Def/ 16 Spd
Impish nature (+Def, -SpAtk)
-Brave Bird
-Roost
-Spikes
-Whirlwind

Standard Skarmory here. I always wanted to use SkarmBliss, but I’ve usually an offensive kind of player. This is where my team starts to come together. It’s actually a TSS. I want to force switch-outs. They’re so detrimental when played correctly.

Blissey (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 Def/ 80 SpAtk/ 176 SpDef
Calm nature (+SpDef, -Atk)
-Wish
-Softboiled
-Flamethrower
-Seismic Toss

Here’s part two of SkarmBliss (duh). Softboiled over Wish because I have a Dusknoir coming up to take Explosions or other things. Flamethrower to get Heracross and like Scizor.

Tentacruel (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Liquid Ooze
EVs: 252 Hp/ 120 Def/ 136 SpDef
Calm nature (+SpDef, -Atk)
-Surf
-Toxic Spikes
-Knock Off
-Rapid Spin

Alright, if you’ve been following along, you’ll notice that all my pokes so far are weak to Infernape with the exception of Skarmory in good prediction cases. Well here’s my counter and the final part of my TSS combo. Set-up toxic spikes on Infernape. Rapid Spin to make it easier for me to switch around. To me, Knock Off is a world better than anything else. I mean knowing the item is almost the same thing as knowing the set.

Dusknoir (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 Hp/252 Def/ 6 SpDef
Relaxed nature (+Def, -Spd)
-Gravity
-Dynamic Punch
-Pain Split
-Ice Punch

HAHAHAHA, I wasn’t through with the TSS combo. Gravity brings all those who Levitate down to suffer the effects of Poison. Ice Punch for coverage.

Well here's my team. Suggestions/recommendations/comments?

[QUOTE USER="zev" TIME="1243960309"]Okay, my Trick/Explosion team actually has a pretty good record.

Breloom (F) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Poison Heal
EVs: 252 Atk/252 Spd/6 Hp
Jolly nature (+Spd, -SpAtk)
-Spore
-Superpower
-Stone Edge
-Seed Bomb

Putting their lead or counter to sleep is almost always a good thing. The only thing I have watch out for are Sleep Talkers. Nothing much to say here, pretty standard. I spore and switch to my true lead. He also takes on all Tricks and Toxics.

I heard ScarfBreloom was a pretty good anti lead and although it's good for the surprise factor, I think you are better off using something that can help set up SR on the first turn. I would classify Heatran/Roserade as suicide leads while Mamoswine/Metagross/Jirachi are the more bulky ones. Also by using SR on your lead pokemon, it'll save Blissey an extra slot in her moveset, which helps quite a bit.

Tyranitar (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Sandstream
EVs: 252 Hp/52 Atk/ 176 SpA/28 Spd
Quiet nature (+SpA, -Spd)
-Substitute
-Focus Punch
-Dark Pulse
-Flamethrower

Ah my lead. Set-up Sandstorm then Substitute if they kept their sleeping pokemon in. Then I focus punch to deal massive damage. Flamethrower is there to punch through otherwise problematic steel types.

Ok, so I honestly think Flamethrower is wasting a moveslot right here. Personally I would use Thunderbolt over it, since it can hit all Steels for neutral. And you don't have to fear much. Heatran/Scizor is OHKO/2HKOd respectively by Focus Punch w/ SR up. Dark Pulse and Focus Punch can handle Bronzong/Metagross/Jirachi, which leaves Skarmory. Thunderbolt 2HKOs Skarmory and Flamethrower does the same, however with Flamethrower, Heatrans can switch in and pseudo stall you with mind games and what not. All in all, Thunderbolt > Flamethrower. Better coverage etc. It also hits any Gyarados switch ins, something Flamethrower cannot do. And Gyarados switching in is BAD especially for this team. Which can be broken apart once Gyarados gets a DD. Waterfall/Earthquake/Ice Fang rapes your whole team. Especially since Gravity is a double edged sword against Skarmory.

Focus Punch - 317 Atk vs 236 Def & 343 HP (150 Base Power): 145 - 171 (42.27% - 49.85%)

This is to the standard 248 HP/252 Atk/8 Spd Scizor w/ Choice Band btw.

Skarmory (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Keen Eye
EVs: 252 Hp/ 64 Atk/ 176 Def/ 16 Spd
Impish nature (+Def, -SpAtk)
-Brave Bird
-Roost
-Spikes
-Whirlwind

Standard Skarmory here. I always wanted to use SkarmBliss, but I’ve usually an offensive kind of player. This is where my team starts to come together. It’s actually a TSS. I want to force switch-outs. They’re so detrimental when played correctly.

Blissey (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 Def/ 80 SpA/ 176 SpD
Calm nature (+SpD, -Atk)
-Wish
-Softboiled
-Flamethrower
-Stealth Rock

Here’s part two of SkarmBliss (duh). I needed someone to SR and I figured this was the best place to put it. Softboiled over Wish because I have a Dusknoir coming up to take Explosions or other things. Flamethrower to get Heracross and like Scizor.

[b]Assuming you'll drop Breloom for something else, you should replace Stealth Rock with Seismic Toss or Protect

Tentacruel (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Liquid Ooze
EVs: 252 Hp/ 120 Def/ 136 SpD
Calm nature (+SpD, -Atk)
-Surf
-Toxic Spikes
-Knock Off
-Rapid Spin

Alright, if you’ve been following along, you’ll notice that all my pokes so far are weak to Infernape with the exception of Scarfloom in some cases and Skarmory in good prediction cases. Well here’s my counter and the final part of my TSS combo. Set-up toxic spikes on Infernape. Rapid Spin to make it easier for me to switch around. To me, Knock Off is a world better than anything else. I mean knowing the item is almost the same thing as knowing the set.

Also, play the Suspect Metagame, it's more fun. And you get to use Garchomp again.

Not very weird, it's just a defensive gravity team.
