Hai gaiz, you might not remember me, but I used to lurk these forums before Platinum came out. I quit like half a year before Platinum came out in Japan. Now, I'm getting back into the game. I'm sure another person has tried this idea too, but meh.

Metagross @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 252 Atk/176 Spd/80 Hp
Jolly nature (+Spd, -SpAtk)
- Trick
- Stealth Rock
- Meteor Mash
- Explosion

Okay first time around was to get my ideas on paper. I changed up the EV's around. 176 EV's guarantees I will outspeed the fastest Azelf (non-boosted). Even with 252 EV's + Choice Scarf, I can't outspeed Aerodactyl with Metagross. Same thing applies to Gengar leads. Okay let’s play a little theorymon with Aerodactyl. Most Aerodactyl leads will use SR or even Taunt thinking I’m going to run away from Earthquake. With Meteor Mash, I can OHKO Aerodactyl with no Hp EV’s and Focus Sash. As noted earlier, EQ can’t OHKO Metagross. I can switch Metagross out and back in later to do something.

Azelf @ Choice Specs
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 36 Atk/252 SpAtk/220 Spd
Naïve nature (+Spd, -SpDef)
-Trick
-Explosion
-Psychic
-U-turn

Garbage Connection (Talim has a foul mouth video on Justin.tv)! Okay, 36 Atk EV’s take out Blissey making it even easier to finish off my opponent. Trick Specs ruin anything other than Blissey. U-turn is for running when conditions are not favorable.

Heatran @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 SpAtk/252 Spd/ 6 Hp
Naïve nature (+Spd, -SpDef)
-Flamethrower
-Earth Power
-HP Ice
-Explosion

Scarftran is amazing. Believe it. Explosion to grief them.

Swampert (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 252 HP/252 Def/6 Atk
Impish nature (+Def, -SpAtk)
-Earthquake
-Waterfall
-Avalanche
-Roar

Roar scares away anything I can’t take on. Everything seems pretty standard.

Zapdos @ Life Orb
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 SpAtk/252 Spd/6 Hp
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Thunderbolt
- Heat Wave
- HP Grass
- Roost

Okay cya Salamence. Zapdos is fast and will clean up once Blissey is gone. HP Grass for that coverage over Ground Types. Heat Wave for Scizor.

Heracross (F) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Guts
EVs: 252 Atk/252 Spd/ 6 Hp
Jolly nature (+Spd, -SpAtk)
-Megahorn
-Close Combat
-Stone Edge
-Pursuit

I remember using one of these back in my TR days. This should deal with Aerodactyl (non-Aerial Ace)/Azelf/Honchcrow and all of those alike. This also handles those pesty ghosts that might want to wall my Explosion, but I shouldn't worry about that with proper prediction and Trick.

Wow, I noticed that all my sweeper pokes are rather bulky and this team looks like my old TR team...It also became less orientated around griefing with Trick/Explosion.

I think we finally have it. Suggestions/recommendations/comments?

You have a mega CBScizor weak. Only Metagross resists the Bullet Punch. You also have a very, very frail team. I'm not sure if that 252 Spd on Metagross is necessary.

Aerodactly rapes your team....lmao.

Sup Kelvin :) Long time no talk.

Replace gengar's trick with focus blast since most pokemon don't care if they get tricked a life orb, aerodactyl won't ko a single pokemon if you just use trick wisely, especially with metagross.

Okay, I changed it gaiz. CBzor has things to worry about thanks to my Mixmence and Rotom-H. If I switch-in on a CBzor and DD. It's gg. Swampert's there for Aerodactyl. Aerodactyl will always outspeed Scarf Metagross no matter how many speed EV's I invest. So I changed it up a bit.

Arec: Long time no chat buddy. I never see you on AIM. I try going on IRC, but I don't see you there either. The only time I see you is on fb lol. Anyway, how's it going?

CB Aero won't OHKO Metagross, but it does put a dent in it, making the whole Trick thing useless.

Trick only works when you switch something in, and Trick the counter that someone switches in. It's not "OMG I STAY IN AND TRICK HIM :)"

Not that I'm saying you didn't know that.

Lets propose a hypothetical battle.

I send in Aero, you send in Metagross. I'm not staying in no matter what, so I switch. Problem solved! Hahaha. Aero gets saved for a rainy day. Now.

CBAero OHKOs Azelf with Crunch 100% of the time. The same goes to Gengar and Rotom.

Salamence gets OHKO'd 100% of the time as well. With SR, he still gets OHKO even with the Intimidate -1.

All Metagross needs is a little wear and tear. Aero does roughly 75% max to him with EQ.

HOWEVER, after all of that is said and done. Not many people use CBAero, most resort to Life Orb and use Stealth Rock or go the gay route and use RestTalkRoarWhirlwind.

Also, major Azelf weak. One Nasty Plot that does not get Tricked will WTFPWN your team as the Azelf can at least hit 5 Pokemon with a Neutral attack (Psychic, Flamethrower but that's 4, HP Ice).

Without the -1 from Intimdate, CB Scizor 2HKOs Salamence with Bullet Punch. That means you will have to get your DD in before Scizor switch in, but Salamence takes a big hit because then you are limited to only 3 turns - 4 max because of Life Orb recoil. Now that I see Outrage only 2HKOs, that means you need to hit it on the switch in AND the next turn. What happens if Scizor switches in on a DD, that's not good.

Flamethrower just might be a good replacement for Earthquake as it does the same thing EQ needs to do for Salamence, which is hit Steels aside from Heatran (that's what you have Swampert for).

Oh snap, I see Honchcrow weak...lmao. Not many people use that though...no worries there.

Also, team is slightly less frail now with the addition of Swampert. Now you have 'Nape weak...lol. Easily dealt with your speed though.

Yeah, I haven't been on the computer much. Facebook is usually where I am and 13 year old girls stalk me on AIM, so I'm scared to get on it. Haha.

Quick look over this team has that Pursuit weak really making me uncomfortable. First suggestion is that if you really really want to keep Gengar, do a sub set at least with Shadow Ball Focus Punch / Blast Hp Fire and put Explosion over one if you really need it. It can lure Scizor and ttar to make it not as terrifying for the rotom and Azelf.

Otherwise want to put Heatran in there somewhere as just an exploder? Over Gengar or Azelf perhaps? With sub it can also lure out bulky waters to help a Sala sweep more, and can be a pretty safe in switch into Celebi as Swampert is pretty good bait for it. Also can beat out Scizor most of the time as pretty much all are CB which rarely use Superpower early mid game too.

The other thing I was worried about how your only end game winning solution is through Salamence. It's not always going to be the most reliable solution either. You've got a lot of team mates that try to set up it easier trhough Trick and Explosion, but just worried how he'll kinda of drop the ball when it depends on Mence late game.

Just some things to keep in mind in revising this team, I don't want to suggest too many things or change many as I'm not really wanting to mess around with the team concept that I don't know if you want to be too strict about with.

Okay, I changed it yet again. It should be done. It might need a few tweaks though. I doubt there is a huge weakness like before.

Arec: Maybe you should change your AIM to something like ArecPee or ArecPan. Meh, it doesn't matter I guess.

Okay. Everything look good. Can you possibly get HP Ice on Heatran as it would make a lot of things easier. I prefer Roost especially with life orb for more durability and stalling low PP moves like Stone Edge.

The whole AIM thing isn't that big of a deal. It's just that i'm not on the pc long enough to get on AIM

Wow, thanks for look over my team for at least 3 times Arec.

I kind of missed our chats about life though, no homo. If you don't mind, I'd like to pm you about stuff (on like fb since TLF doesn't really work).
