so yeah I'm posting a team after awhile hiatus from pokemon. In december I got a tutor from smogon. He was very good, and I learned a ton of new stuff for heavy offensive. Made a new team with an idea thats been floating in my head for awhile. using subcune and dsbronzong as they complement each other typing and set up a similar goal. the idea(as I thought) was for nape to lure out bulky waters / latias, and the former with +2 close combat and the other with tyranitar. then the rest just fix holes in everywhere

Has been working out, but nape is really hard to get in right away, which i think has to do with the lead (need ice / fire/ bullet punch bait to get him in I think) and the lack of speed which has been somewhat patched by body slam and discharge but not completely reliable, and if there's one thing I've learned from my old tut is that for a good offensive team at all needs speed speed speed.

Jirachi @ Shuca Berry
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 6 HP/252 Atk/252 Spd
Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Fire Punch
- Body Slam
- Iron Head
- Stealth Rock

I needed a faster non suicide lead. Has been working out reliably, but I am for sure open to other leads. the only teamwork role is sr, some para support, and early switch to nape if matched against heatran

Bronzong @ Light Clay
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP/152 Atk/8 Def/96 SDef
Relaxed nature (+Def, -Spd)
- Explosion
- Light Screen
- Gyro Ball
- Reflect

very easy to get in and very easy to set up with, pleasantly surprised at how well his actual role in battle is. rarely use gyro ball though, as he sets up, if i get the chance blow up on blissey, waters, or dd mence / gyara

Suicune @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP/152 Spd/104 SAtk
Modest nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Calm Mind
- Ice Beam
- Surf
- Substitute

inspiration for team, but she's having a hard time finding her role in battle, is a fire switch in and with screens sets up easily, my only problem is that I have to switch in often in the game which usually by end game makes her have <75% health which is hard to have, also dragon assurance too

Tyranitar (M) @ Choice Band
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 HP/40 Atk/216 SDef
Careful nature (+SDef, -SAtk)
- Pursuit
- Stone Edge
- Crunch
- Aqua Tail

latias terror, and main switch in to electrics which he shines in especially with light screen this guy is a terror to anything special. pursuit starmie, blissey, zapdos, jolteon, rotom. I am very happy with his role so far.

Rotom-w @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP/136 Def/122 SDef
Calm nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Sleep Talk
- Rest
- Discharge
- Hidden Power [Fighting]

here just to patch things up defensively. needed fighting, electric, ground, resists who could take on gyara, scizor, and other stuff, and holy crap here's something that just naturally fits the bill. has been working out

Infernape (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 6 HP/252 Atk/252 Spd
Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Close Combat
- Stone Edge
- Fire Punch
- Swords Dance

meh, if only he could get in earlier, but is one of my faster guys who fits in this team well in theory.

Thats it, I have been winning I guess but not how I've been wanting to. Thanks guys.

I'll edit this post later. But imo, Heatran > Infernape on this team.

Edit: This reminds me of my Status team. Where you would screw over the opponent's whole team with either paralyzation or burn, which would cripple them and make all my pokemon seem extremely durable and fast. As for Heatran, I would suggest a Substitute set. Mainly because it would have more survivability then Infernape in Sandstorm and would ease up prediction. I ran the SubToxic set on my Heatran, and that worked out fairly well mainly because it dealt with Swamperts and other bulky grounds expecting an easy set up. And Leftovers on Heatran, not Life Orb. >_>

Any reason in particular why you're using the washing machine? Do you think you're better off misleading the opponent into thinking you have Hydro Pump, rather than Overheat?

To be honest, I could've used any of them, I just like the look of the washing machine more. Anyways waiting to hear back about Heatran, as I'd make a few changes overall to fit him. If it's sub with toxic or hp electric than my team is very very slow. if its anything but scarf actually I'd be changing alot to speed the team up. So I'm interested in what you've got to say.
