I'm not sure how many times we have to go over this, but you aren't allowed to have multiple accounts. I realize that many of you have sockpupets and "alts", but this isn't gamefaqs - when I ban someone, I ban by IP addresses that you've used in the past, so that any username you've been on is banned - thereby making it some sort of defense is kind of useless.

The following people had two accounts with the same username:

upsided0wn7 (had seven accounts, three under the exact same name)

I'm not sure what the deal is, if you can't remember your password or don't like the email address its under, or don't like your username, don't create a new account - you can change the email address on your account settings page, and if you can't remember then ask me, it isn't that difficult.

So, I renamed one of each of the accounts (the one with the highest number) to have a 2 after it, so if you login and see "flounder2" as your username for example, well that's your own fault, but I can switch it around the other way - just contact me, don't create a new account.

If using IRC is just way too difficult for you and you want your email/password changed, you can email me at: theumbrellagroup@gmail.com be sure to list your username and email address you think it's under.

P.S. At least two of you have the password "pokemon", I suggest you change it because that's way too easy to guess (it's none of the people on the list above or anyone that's very active)

If you're wondering why I listed these publicly, it's because most people create more than one account for two reasons 1) because they screw up their other account(s) 2) because they want to use it to trick people, have someone agree with them, or to troll. Listing them publicly basically makes it impossible to do the latter. Depending on how this works out, we may have a quartly game of "spot the troll", with points for those who get it right.

Doubles by Email

These people had multiple accounts under the same email address. So, I made the lowest number stay with the same email address, the rest were changed to [username]@thehive.ws:

People with no email

These accounts are left over from our transition from zboards or whatever the hell it was, and they didn't prove an email address. After thinking about it for a minute I wondered if some of those people had the problem I did a year ago or so, when I'd log in and the site wouldn't reject my info, but I wouldn't be logged in, anyway. I forget if it was you or Fantasty that actually did something about it.

My two accounts were registrations I never got an email for.

edit: The fact that I have two with the same name is probably due to the fact that the original name for this account was "Flounder_" but it was changed a few months back by somebody.

This reminds me, my brother also has an account on here, called ff__rocks. I imagine we don't show as the same IP address or whatever at the moment, because I'm not at home. But just for future reference.

I only created another account since the first got hacked. There's no use to it now.

If your account gets hacked, you report it and we take care of it. If your car gets broken into, do you just get another car, or do you report the crime and get your busted window fixed?
