Anyways, seeing as how Platinum comes out in just a few weeks here in the US, I was thinking we could collaborate on a PT walkthrough, with a Libelldra spin on it. Like an alternate story line written in. I know we have a few writers here that are pretty talented, and it wouldn't be difficult to add our own twist to it.

I can pick it up the day its released and get some of the game knocked out, but I have responsibilities to take care of - work, girlfriend, etc. This is why I propose a collaboration.

This could also potentially revive some of the boards. I don't know. I'm just trying to get something together that we can work on.

I appreciate any feedback and suggestions.

I was thinking about getting a low level Trapinch and having all our people start with lvl 5 Trapinches as well as the starter of their choice and having a "Trainer and his/her Trapinch" kind of things. Granted I have no idea what they added in but I'm hoping its got some sort of change in story like Crystal did from Gold/Silver.

That's the Libelldra twist I wanted to add. If Gameboy wanted to we could maybe toss his a Totodile - unless you can't transfer those until after the national dex. Again, it's been a while since I played through.

The only (and main) problem I see is that "walkthroughs" aren't meant to have alternate storylines injected into them by the author's whim, because then it's not really a walkthrough any more, especially when it includes automatically having a particular poke. It's a bastardized Let's Play with fanfiction stirred in.
