In a battle simulator, far far away known as Netbattle Supremacy.. I have faced Ruesap countless times (Ok, 3 times at the time of this battle, having lost once and winning twice.) Ruesap challenges me, thirsting for revenge. I gladly accept, as it reminds me of our old netbattle days, where me and Ruesap used to have friendly matches.
Ruesap sent out Snazzy (Lv.100 Gyarados)!
CrossDragon sent out Jirachi (Lv.100 Jirachi)!
Snazzy's Intimidate cuts Jirachi's Attack! Ruesap: time to die, noob
CrossDragon: cool story bro
Ruesap: yes, cool story indeed
Such hostility and it's not even mid-late game. Anywho, Jirachi VS Gyarados is a favorable match up for me, as it's probably a DD variation, meaning I can Twave it; crippling it. I'm predicting a switch in to Gliscor or Swampert at this point, because Jirachi is setup fodder for Pert really.
Ruesap withdrew Snazzy!
Ruesap sent out Jefferson Javis (Lv.100 Heatran)!
Jirachi used Thunder Wave!
Jefferson Javis is paralyzed! It may be unable to move!
Ruesap decides to start off strong and switches in Heatran to try and scare off/kill my Jirachi, however Twave hits it's mark crippling Heatran. Having fought Ruesap before, I knew it was Choice Scarf Heatran, so he'll probably go for the OHKO on Jirachi with Fire Blast. Well we can't have that, especially since Jirachi has yet to set up Stealth Rock. So predicting a Fire Blast, I decide to switch out to my own Heatran. I ignored the fact that it may possibly Earth Power because predicting early game will just get you killed. IMO anywho.
CrossDragon withdrew Jirachi!
CrossDragon sent out Heatran (Lv.100 Heatran)!
Jefferson Javis is paralyzed! It can't move! CrossDragon: cool
I switch in my Heatran expecting the worst, only to receive a nice bonus thanks to Twave. So Ruesap being Ruesap, must be predicting an Earth Power from my Heatran, so my guess is that he'll probably switch out to something like Gliscor and nail my Heatran. So I'll have Heatran set up a Substitute to scout the switch-in and then I'll decide what to do from there.
Ruesap withdrew Jefferson Javis!
Ruesap sent out Johnny Punch (Lv.100 Vaporeon)!
Heatran used Substitute!
Heatran made a Substitute!
Heatran's Leftovers restored its HP a little! Ruesap: you've made the wrong move
Well, Ruesap switches in Vaporeon, but having set up my own Substitute, I'm not too worried. I'll cripple Vaporeon with WoW and in turn that force it to start Wishing earlier then he needs to. However, Ruesap states I've made a wrong move but we'll see. We'll see.
Heatran used Will-O-Wisp!
Johnny Punch was burned!
Johnny Punch used Surf!
The Substitute took damage for Heatran!
Heatran's Substitute faded!
It's super effective!
Heatran's Leftovers restored its HP a little!
Johnny Punch is hurt by its burn!
I manage to cripple Vaporeon with WoW, and I'm slowly fixing the game to my pace. His Heatran is still paralyzed while his Vaporeon is burned. Next, I'm thinking it's time to weaken Vaporeon a bit so I switch to Celebi.
CrossDragon withdrew Heatran!
CrossDragon sent out Celebi (Lv.100 Celebi)!
Johnny Punch used Surf!
It's not very effective...
Celebi's Leftovers restored its HP a little!
Johnny Punch's Leftovers restored its HP a little!
Johnny Punch is hurt by its burn!
I switch in Celebi, hoping to scare off Vaporeon. Even if Grass Knot does very little damage, it'll add up alongside the Burn damage. And Ruesap knows this, so hopefully he'll switch so I can snare something else with Twave.
Celebi used Thunder Wave!
But it failed!
Johnny Punch used Yawn!
Johnny Punch made Celebi drowsy!
Celebi's Leftovers restored its HP a little!
Johnny Punch's Leftovers restored its HP a little!
Johnny Punch is hurt by its burn!
Fuck, Celebi didn't manage to scare off Vaporeon as I hoped it would and on top of that Vaporeon Yawned Celebi. Maybe he expects me to switch so he can get a free turn of recovery. Well I can't let that happen.. so I'll stay in and Grass Knot.
Celebi used Grass Knot!
It's super effective!
Johnny Punch used Wish!
Johnny Punch made a Wish!
Celebi's Leftovers restored its HP a little!
Johnny Punch's Leftovers restored its HP a little!
Johnny Punch is hurt by its burn!
Celebi fell asleep!
As I predicted, Vaporeon takes the chance to heal. This means that it's running Surf/Wish/Yawn/Ice Beam or HP Elec. Hopefully it's Ice Beam, that way I'll be able to switch in my Jirachi with little damage.
CrossDragon withdrew Celebi!
CrossDragon sent out Jirachi (Lv.100 Jirachi)!
Johnny Punch used Surf!
Johnny Punch's Wish came true!
Johnny Punch regained health!
Jirachi's Leftovers restored its HP a little!
Johnny Punch's Leftovers restored its HP a little!
Johnny Punch is hurt by its burn!
Vaporeon recovers off the damage and manages to deal quite a blow to my Jirachi. Well, that's not good. But I have to set up Stealth Rock, whatever the cost. Vaporeon will probably hit Jirachi once again with Surf which will once again probably do a fair amount or... switch.
Ruesap withdrew Johnny Punch!
Ruesap sent out Jefferson Javis (Lv.100 Heatran)!
Jirachi used Stealth Rock!
Pointed stones float in the air around Ruesap's team!
Jirachi's Leftovers restored its HP a little!
He switches Heatran back in, but I'm not too worried. Being crippled and being locked into one move if Ruesap attacks, he'll probably play it safe and Earth Power Jirachi. Which means a switch to Celebi is in order.
CrossDragon withdrew Jirachi!
CrossDragon sent out Celebi (Lv.100 Celebi)!
Jefferson Javis used Stealth Rock!
Pointed stones float in the air around CrossDragon's team! gameboy3333 has started watching. CrossDragon: LOL SR
Ruesap: LOL SR indeed
Wait, what? Stealth Rock? Utility Heatran? This sorta changes things. But now that Celebi is out, Heatran will probably Lava Plume, so more prediction now. Hopefully Ruesap won't outpredict me. >_>
CrossDragon withdrew Celebi!
CrossDragon sent out Heatran (Lv.100 Heatran)!
Pointed stones dug into Heatran!
Jefferson Javis is paralyzed! It can't move!
Heatran's Leftovers restored its HP a little! CrossDragon: cool
Ruesap: i don't really understand what you're doing
Well, Heatran switches in safely once more, however I could've used that Flash Fire Boost. But if it was Earth Power, I would've been fucked. Well, Heatran's safe nevertheless meaning I can start attacking now. After I scout of course. No ever understands what I'm doing. Why should you Ruesap? Of course; mindgames are fun as they tend to mindfuck someone.
Heatran used Substitute!
Heatran made a Substitute!
Jefferson Javis used Earth Power!
The Substitute took damage for Heatran!
Heatran's Substitute faded!
It's super effective!
Heatran's Leftovers restored its HP a little! CrossDragon: obviously
I set up a Substitute hoping that Heatran will switch out, but apparently not. Ruesap's playing it safe now, meaning I should go for the kill. Most utility Heatrans are still EVed in speed as they want to set up SR early, meaning it shouldn't have much HP EVs. So let's go for that kill.[/b
CrossDragon: better watch out for that Earth Power
[b]Heatran used Earth Power! A critical hit!
It's super effective!
Jefferson Javis fainted! Ruesap: k
gameboy3333: cocktrainer
Ruesap: oh fuck you
CrossDragon: i told you
Ruesap: that wouldn't have OHKOed without a crit
CrossDragon: WELL I DID TELL YOU TO WATCH OUT
Ruesap: my heatran is max/max, nigger
Lol, nice timing Lady Luck. Score is now 6-5, with me leading. Then we exchange a bit of conversation but it all goes down the drain, sadly.
Ruesap sent out Johnny Punch (Lv.100 Vaporeon)!
Pointed stones dug into Johnny Punch! CrossDragon: in HP/SpDef? Heatran's Leftovers restored its HP a little!
Johnny Punch's Leftovers restored its HP a little!
Johnny Punch is hurt by its burn! Ruesap: yes
Vaporeon switches in once more, and since I still need my Heatran to WoW some more pokemon, I switch it out. YOU BETTER NOT ICE BEAM!!

Oh, right Vaporeon Yawns my Celebi switch in, meaning that it'll try to recover once again. Gotta kill off this thing quickly. If it survives for too long, it might start Wishpassing and I can't let that happen.
gameboy3333: GO JOHNNY PUNCH Celebi used Grass Knot!

Ruesap: to take earth powers from other heatran
CrossDragon: i dont care cracker
Grass Knot fails to finish off Vaporeon once again as it gets in it's Wish while Celebi falls asleep. Damn it. Gameboy3333, being Ruesap's loyal bitch cheers for Ruesap while he exchanges comments with me once again. Only this time, I respond with my own. Snap.
Celebi is fast asleep.

I keep Celebi in, on the small chance that it might wake up, but no avail. Vaporeon should start attacking now, but I still don't know if it has Ice Beam because it just Surfed. Must've been scouting, so I'll keep Celebi in once more on the chance that it'll wake up.

Well, that failed. One more hit and Celebi faints; can't let Ruesap do that. I'll switch over to Jirachi because it's pretty good sacrifice fodder since it has nothing else to do.[/b

The Burn damage is starting to add up, so Wish is needed once again. Well I'll have Jirachi do whatever damage it can before it falls. It should be good enough to take at least 3 hits, factoring in leftovers. So let's do this.
Jirachi used Zen Headbutt!
Johnny Punch used Surf! A critical hit!

Ruesap: finally (nigger)
God damn it, untimely hax, I can only get in 2 hits now. Curses. Well, whatever.
Jirachi used Zen Headbutt!
Johnny Punch used Surf!
Jirachi fainted!
Score is now 5-5 IIRC, I need to kill Vaporeon now. It's going into mid-game now and if it manages to Wishpass later on, I'll be screwed over.
CrossDragon: i have you now CrossDragon sent out Tyranitar (Lv.100 Tyranitar)!
Pointed stones dug into Tyranitar!
Tyranitar's Sand Stream whipped up a sandstorm!
The sandstorm rages.
Johnny Punch is buffeted by the sandstorm!
Johnny Punch's Leftovers restored its HP a little!
Johnny Punch is hurt by its burn!
Tyranitar switches in, starting a Sandstorm and negating whatever Leftovers recovery Vaporeon had. He'll probably want to switch out to preserve his Vaporeon later on, so... Take this!
Tyranitar used Pursuit!
Johnny Punch fainted! gameboy3333: gasp
Score: 5-4, An eye for an eye. However, this puts me in a pretty bad situation. Ruesap is now free to switch in either Gyarados or Lucario to set up and sweep me. Shit, son.
Ruesap sent out Aphromighty (Lv.100 Lucario)!
Pointed stones dug into Aphromighty!
The sandstorm rages. CrossDragon: inb4SD
Fucking shit. Well I was right. Figures he didn't switch in Gyarados because of the SR damage it would take. Well, the obvious switch in would be my own Gyarados to cut that SD boost, Lucario will get. But SR will chip off my own Gyarados' health to 75%. If Lucario has Crunch or Stone Edge, he'll be able to sweep and win. If not, hopefully Extremespeed won't kill. Let's hope.
CrossDragon withdrew Tyranitar!

Aphromighty fainted! CrossDragon: nice try
CrossDragon: but I have 80 HP EVs
Ruesap: OMG 80 EVs !!
CrossDragon: yes
Ruesap: i'm almost impressed
CrossDragon: superior
Snap, thanks to that 80 HP EV investment, Gyarados manages to survive with less then 10% of it's health. Of course, Ruesap hides back his rage with a smug comeback. Can't say i blame him, I didn't think my own Gyarados would survive the attack either. >_>; Score is now 5-3.
Ruesap sent out Snazzy (Lv.100 Gyarados)!
Pointed stones dug into Snazzy!

With my own Gyarados on the verge of fainting, Ruesap switches in his, probably to set up. Or will he finish my Gyarados? I'm betting on the fact that it'll Waterfall and then set up afterwards. So I switch in my Celebi to hopefully cripple it with TWave and what not. And my Gyarados can serve as scout/bait later on, so it's all good.
CrossDragon withdrew Gyarados!

CrossDragon: no
Well, that was definetely not expected. My Celebi outsped his Gyarados? What the hell? My Celebi is at 245 Speed, if it outsped Gyarados, that means it's Bulky. I might have a chance!! Fuck yeah. But should I bother scouting ? or just Grass Knot? I'll scout for the hell of it.
Ruesap withdrew Snazzy!
Ruesap sent out Muskman (Lv.100 Gliscor)!

Celebi's Leftovers restored its HP a little!
Ruesap predicts my Twave and switches in Gliscor. Well this isn't so bad. In our last few matches, my Celebi outsped Gliscor iirc; so I'll go for the kill. Nothing to fear!
Muskman used U-Turn!
It's super effective!
Muskman went back to Ruesap!
Celebi fainted! CrossDragon: shit son
CrossDragon: Choice Band
Ruesap pulls off another surprise, apparently his Gliscor was EVed to outspeed my Celebi and on top of that it was Choice Banded. Well fuck. You learn from your mistakes I guess. Score: 4-3 Possible Comeback?? Who knows.
Ruesap: go, SNAZZY Ruesap sent out Snazzy (Lv.100 Gyarados)!

CrossDragon sent out Gyarados (Lv.100 Gyarados)!
Pointed stones dug into Gyarados!

Snazzy is buffeted by the sandstorm!
Snazzy's Leftovers restored its HP a little!
I switch in Tyranitar, hoping that it's bulky enough to take a Waterfall/Earthquake and hit back with Stone Edge. Since Ruesap's Gyarados was outsped by my Celebi it must mean it's running a very minimum amount of Speed EVs. Well whatever, I decided to go for the kill.
Ruesap withdrew Snazzy!
Ruesap sent out Shampow (Lv.100 Swampert)!
Pointed stones dug into Shampow!

The sandstorm rages.
Shampow's Leftovers restored its HP a little! Ruesap: nice try, noob
CrossDragon: Critical Hit
Ruesap: but clearly you are...hey wtf
I'll make you eat your own words Ruesap. Ruesap switches out Gyarados and in comes Swampert, the perfect Tyranitar counter. But it comes in only to eat a critical hit Stone Edge. This puts Swampert down to about 28%. And if memory serves Critical Hits double the power of an attack, so if a Crit SE did about 40%+ that means a non-crit one will kill of Swampert. Yeahh!! Let's do this.
Tyranitar used Stone Edge!
Tyranitar's attack missed!
Shampow used Rest!
Shampow went to sleep!
The sandstorm rages. Ruesap: good, nigger
Damn, Stone Edge misses when I need it to hit. Madness. Who would've guessed eh? Swampert rests off the damage and it's going to start either attacking or setting up. It's really the luck of the draw now. Well, now's the best time to bring in my end-game sweeper and set up.
CrossDragon withdrew Tyranitar!

Damn, Waterfall breaks my Sub open, leaving Garchomp unguarded. Garchomp is at 72% health or so so it should be able to take a +1 Waterfall while still being able to SD up. Provided it doesn't flinchhax Garchomp.
Garchomp used Swords Dance!

Ok, Garchomp is at 48%, if it manages to survive the Waterfall its Salac Berry will activate. I should be able to 2HKO Swampert at best. Let's see why Garchomp got banned in the first place.
Garchomp used Dragon Claw!
Shampow used Waterfall!
The sandstorm rages.
Using Salac Berry, the Speed of Garchomp rose!
Shampow's Leftovers restored its HP a little! Ruesap: i knew there was a reason this bastard was banned
gameboy3333: SUPER GASP
Garchomp survives, and deals roughly about little less the 50% damage to Swampert. Leftovers factored in, Swampert stands at 55% health. I don't remember if Earthquake hits Swampert for Neutral or not. Fuck, Garchomp stands at 3%, so it's all or nothing.
Garchomp used Earthquake!
Shampow fainted!
Ruesap sent out Muskman (Lv.100 Gliscor)!
Pointed stones dug into Muskman!
The sandstorm rages.
Fuck yeah. Score: 3-2, Gliscor is banded IIRC but I doubt Ruesap would Scarf it. Then again i'm not sure if a +2 Dragon Claw will OHKO Gliscor. And it's at full health to top it off. If it survives and manages to Ice Fang, i'm screwed.
