How freaking high do the scores go now? And what subjects have they added?
When I was in high school (graduated '01) the highest you could get was a 1600 and the subjects included only Math and English. Getting a 1540 back then would have been incredible.
I got a 2040 the last time I took my SAT; I improved my Critical Reading and Writing scores by 50 and 100, respectively, but somehow scored 10 points worse on the Math section.
I took the "newer" version of the SAT like two or three years ago, but I remember the sucky scoring I got (would've been better if I actually studied and took it over again like most people do...). XD;;
Though, hardly anybody at Stanford asks anybody else about their SAT scores - I guess because we can assume a good chunk of them got a perfect like my friends Angela and Lucas, but I'm one of the rarer students who scored below the 2k mark with a 1970. XD It's always the math portion too! I aced those literary sections with relative ease however.
