I wanted to post this as a comment, but Youtube was doing maintenance last night. Anyway, there's an easy way to find a Ralts, because from my experience they are a bitch to locate. Ralts are found at level four with a few other pokemon, but you can eliminate most of the other pokemon on the route by getting a pokemon at level 3, putting it in the lead, and using a repel. It may require some trial and error, but you should be able to find a Ralts significantly faster using this method. I was able to find one in under two minutes last time.
I found one the hard way... I'm going to upload part 3 soon. You will NEVER believe what happened.
On a completely different subject, Radio-Canada, CBC's French channel, openly called Fox News a "conservative" news channel yesterday. The fun thing about that channel is that it's essentially owned by the Canadian government. So when TV channels that belong to foreign governments openly call you out on your bias, especially when said foreign governments are conservative themselves, it's time to take that "fair and balanced" mantra and send it to the trash can. And on that same note, did they run out of competent applicants for potential political analysts, ones that know the prime minister of Canada and the president of France are ANYONE ELSE THAN FUCKING STEF CARSE AND JOHNNY HALLYDAY?!?
Edit: It's up!

As a side note, after buying balls I only had $2000 left, so that wasn't too much money left for repels. Besides, after looking at the Pokéearth, I determined that it only doubled the chances of finding a Ralts. More money, more experience... but a bit less sanity. It's a price I'm willing to pay, because I have no sanity to begin with.
Around here, I think the only channel that doesn't mock the fuck out of Fox News, openly or not, is Fox News. Seriously, everyone I have ever bothered to pay attention to for more than five minutes has at some point or another made a joke out of Fox News being a joke.
Edit: lol, I KNEW you would forego the repels in exchange for more exp. As if a fuckload of previous videos hadn't already made that clear.
I for one will be dousing my HGSS pokes in the stuff as if they're beached whales needing to remain wet.
Oh yeah, gotta love Palin for 2012 ads right on a page that blasts the everloving crap out of her, without ever mentioning her name once! This is just as creepy as YouTube's voice recognition. But not as creepy as the prospect of Palin WINNING, of course. I mean, I don't hold Republicans in general in my heart, but I'd take any of them over the essence of incompetence personified.
I wish I could share your enthusiasm, but this is the country that didn't even give Obama 55% we're talking about. (I did mention Switzerland is the only other country that wouldn't have given him 80%, right?) I'm just hoping there are enough sane Republicans out there to end her run in the primaries.

FUCK YOU WALLY ERAWH/?W$%/YTGREW%/
Oh yeah, and there's supposedly a secret about that Ranger 3 Deoxys. Probably a new move...
Oh dear. Since when did Presea turn into a chatterbox? Oh well, that "iron maiden curse" bit was hilarious nonetheless, as is the skit about Tenebrae's lack of paw pads. The more things change, the more they stay the same.
As for FF5, I checked out of curiosity what Mineuchi did, and apparently all it is is a standard attack that doesn't end sleep, confusion or control. Is that really it? What a horrible ability. I also tried the Dancing Dagger, and it's so fun to play around with, especially when you get to nail Sword Dance. OUCH. I gave Dance to all my characters in the Bal Castle basement, and now I'm itching to try it out.
I started Drakenvale yesterday, and well, the Dancing Dagger doesn't do much good there. Half the time I get a draining attack, either HP or MP, but there's so much undead stuff it hurts more than it helps. Guess I'm going to keep the dancing to Freelancers and Mimes, once they have some stat boosts from mastered classes.
Is that the place with the pollen boss and all the skeleton dragons? I seem to recall getting quickly annoyed there.
Speaking of pollen, they make a really annoying enemy you fight in the bonus dungeon, in large numbers. They spam powders, which unlike the Pokemon variety deal damage on top of status.
That's the one. The part that really puzzled me was the one where you had to fall down a hole. So that means whenever I get stuck, I should use not only Find Passages but Find Pits as well, it seems. Good thing I looked in a walkthrough too, else I wouldn't have found the Bone Mail. Dunno how good it actually is, the no-healing drawback is pretty huge, so I didn't try it.
The boss was a total pansy, though. Repeated castings of Titan utterly destroyed it.
Edit: Speaking of pansies. Petalburg to Verdanturf. On foot. Can't walk five steps without explosive diarrhea and insane vomiting. Recipe for disaster!
I always assumed they had one of those "aim for the horn!" moments. Probably wally got attacked by a group of lv 5 poochyena and was about to die when ralts used a teary confusion which somehow beat them all and as a result, gained two levels making it "legitimate". Heh, I should write the anime.
A buddy who watches the show for reasons he's never explained and I've never bothered to inquire tells me that when an opponent uses Iron Defense, they're basically nigh invincible.
He also described the gym fight with Byron, which not only had this, but something about making the stadium collapse on his Steelix.
Long overdue? You still have an ongoing SMB3 run, you know =P
I have a friend that habitually buys paper guides for every big name game he owns, which has actually come in handy for the instances in which I write a guide for GFaqs and want to cross reference something like stats, which are some of the few things those guides can actually print correctly (but not always!)
Oh, yeah. Totally forgot about Shield Dust. Well, that one guy arguing that Synchronize was a better choice should be eating his words right about now. Trace 1, Synchronize 0. And I'm not even at Rustboro yet!
Back to FF5... Level 5 Death is way too damn strong. In FF6 it was garbage, but it hitting bosses here is insane. Atomos is the hardest boss until that point in the game, no questions asked. He handed my overleveled ass to me (level 39). And all it takes is one Dark Spark followed by Level 5 Death. DAMN. Of course my entire party was near death just in the time it took to nail them, but two attacks downing such a boss is ridiculous.
Edit: Part 7 is up!

About to enter Building #2 in ToS2... I evolved my horrifyingly overpowered Cave Bear and Were Bear in the Katz sidequests, and now they're pathetic in comparison to what they used to be. They're both level 19 now, so it's not as bad as if I sent them into the frying pan at level 1, but still... At least I still have a Gorgon and a Banshee, both at level 99, if things get rough. I'm evolving the latter when it reaches level 100, but I can't do it with the Gorgon until I find a Horn, which is supposedly found in Frozen Crevasse A-rank quests. And I haven't drawn a single one so far! Bleh.
By the way, I'd heard the Galf Beast looked exactly like a potential Sandslash evo, but I didn't expect the description to be so accurate.
