English isn't his first language. What were you expecting?
Slowflake, you're just being self conscious now. It doesn't take balls to say something you keep telling yourself.
You know what an irritable voice sounds like? Those extremely thick yet soft Indian accents you get when you try calling tech support. Real fucking supportive all right.
Lol if Ice was still Super Effective against Gyarados today... >___>
Also, Slowflake how are you getting your vids with so nice quality? I have a camera and when I try vidding stuff the quality comes out like crap, unless your vidding it on computer with a Rom?
You pretty much nailed it. It's virtually impossible to get such quality with a camera. I even explicitly mentioned CamStudio in the first post.
Sore throat today, so nothing new... but expect part 6 tomorrow, along with another extra. Which, this time, has nothing to do with Pokémon, and will span over 5 or 6 vids.
As for the dual typing thing... could it be that it's type 2 (Poison for Bulbasaur, Flying for Gyarados) that takes precedence over type 1 (Grass for Bulbasaur, Water for Gyarados)?
Edit: I just read the types DO cancel each other out, but the sound effect played and the message displayed are glitched and occur when they shouldn't. Probably decided by type 2, as I said, but the actual damage done is apparently neutral. Wow, it's unbelievable how glitched that game is.
I liked how the game hyped ghosts as being the answer to psychics when all they had to SE with was Lick, and psychics were immune to it.
I dunno if this was the first widely used RBY battling server fucking with me, but apparently poison was also weak to bug. Razor Wind could also hit ghosts.
Oh lawd, memories. I remember the time when I brought in a Ghastly to fight Sabrina. It was level 23 or something like that. Needless to say, I got lolpwned.
Time to reveal my side project: a playthrough of Sonic 2 on Game Gear! (For the record, it's a completely different game than the Genesis game of the same name.) First three parts are up:
Part 1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vS6YwD9t4D0
Part 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LjQOOfstJsM
Part 3: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ymox3tKEMTw
I'll do the last two zones tomorrow, and after that I'll continue Pokémon Red.
Edit: Sonic 2 GG completed!

That was a short game, how much money did it cost when it came out?
Because Super Mario World was like 5 times longer than that.
Whoa, whoa, this is a HANDHELD game we're talking about. Comparisons with SNES and Genesis games are unfair, though this wasn't too much shorter than Sonic 1 on Genesis. Besides, I made it look short because I didn't die very much.
Anyway, this game and another one (can't remember what it was) were given for free along with the Game Gear for most of its lifespan.
Edit: DOUBLE HEADER!

Naw, but seriously, isn't that last video awesome?
