Tells you how much faith I have in the thing, and how much faith I would've had had it been a Bayleef or an unevolved Totodile. Maybe it's actually going to be really valuable throughout its run (which is scheduled to end after the E4 is beaten).
I'm sort of worried by Silver's Croconaw in the next encounter, since all Gastly can do is put it to sleep, and Quilava... well, Water Gun sez hi. I'm thinking of leveling Bellsprout up a bit in Union Cave, and do a kamikaze run spamming Flash (remember what I did with Spearow in the second Blue fight?). Same goes for Whitney's Miltank... however, my firepower will have improved immensely between Silver and Whitney. Quilava will know Fire Blast, Gastly Thunder, and I'll have an Alakazam with Confusion, Ice Punch and Thunderpunch.
You should do all right, unless Miltank survives to get off two Rollouts, which I think will be able to kill it. On a 10-hour plane trip I managed to solo Gold through to Lance (I KOed his final Dragonite as the plane was getting ready to land and the stewards were demanding all electronics shut off) and there was one place I almost lost- Miltank. I was barely able to avoid it getting killed.
I dunno where the hell you got Thunderpunch but IIRC I had given it to it at some point.. it was the best thing I had for the dragons.
If I nail even one Flash, Rollout shouldn't have too many opportunities to reach threatening power. If I fail, though, it's time to say uh-oh, because my team isn't going to be built to take that kind of abuse. One Rock weak and two Pokés with razor-thin defenses = not good. ****, Alakazam will be the one who takes the least damage from Rollout.
Edit: How many licks does it take to get to the center of a level 15 Magikarp?
Edit 4: An experimental experiment of experimentalness...

Edit 5: Locked down the graffiti wall because of lack of space on it... this is going to be repeated someday, though. However, I do have a little something for you today:

Also, this is awesome and you don't have a heart if you don't agree:
Edit 12: The last episode I managed to churn out during my summer vacation. Which I took in May, because I'll be badly needed at work in July (the busiest month in the year), while everyone else is on vacation.
Double program! The second half is made up of banter you should already know by heart, this is something for the less educated members of my viewership.
I'm not much of a trailer man, to be honest. You can make any game look great with a trailer, even if it turns out to be garbage. Actual gameplay is what really gets me.
With that being said, Galaxy's my favorite Mario game (which really means a lot considering the caliber of the opposition), so if they can manage to make it as good, then it'll be gaming bliss.
Well, think about it like this. During last year's nintendo press conference, assuming you even watched footage, Wii Music looked fucking pathetic and illicited no positive reaction from a gamer.
Now you have a trailer to a sequel of an extremely well made game. If nothing else, it should excite you that they're making it.
And come on, some of those in-level clips look so badass.
Right now I'm evaluating the possibility of not entering the gym until I reach Sudowoodo, which is where beating Whitney will become mandatory as it's a prerequisite to getting the Squirtbottle.
Yes, I know I can probably beat her as I am now, but at the same time I think I'd be helping some players who might tend to struggle more by reminding them that yes, routes 35 and 36 are there if you have problems. And with HGSS coming out soon, you just know Whitney will give some people nightmares again.
Likewise, I'm not too worried about Clair's Kingdra (which Repto pointed out as a potential problem), but nonetheless I'm planning to clear out the entirety of Johto until the last trainer standing is Clair herself. Hey, I did the same thing in RBY by doing every nook and cranny of the overworld before entering the Pokémon Mansion.
Well, it's still just a trio of Dragonairs. And for a Pokémon that's obtained at level 30, it still has the questionable BST of 420. Plus I'm going to have, oh, Ice Punch Alakazam, Ice Punch Gengar, Ice Beam Lapras and Blizzard Suicune. Lapras is obviously the better option, so if it can outspeed them they're going to be complete nonfactors.
Edit 2: Remember what I said near the beginning of the LP about children being vicious? Well, while I was on my daily stroll, I saw a four-year old pelt his mother with rocks. If I were a parent getting lapidated by my four-year old child, I wouldn't even care that there's someone on the sidewalk, I'd grab the ****er and soccer punt the little bastard to the moon.
...oh yeah, there's another video!

Edit 3: Time to dissect the suspect ladder! After I'm done with the whole spelling bee talk, that is.
Edit 4: Hide the children! No seriously, you've been warned.

Edit 5: Part 32 is up, and I don't have anything witty to say!

Edit 6: Not a new part, but... it's the Bug-Catching Contest for dummies! Be sure to check out the graph and table in the movie description for more information!
Not only that, but you now have an Alakazam that hits like a truck. I doubt you'll OHKO it, but unless you try to take her with Quilava you won't be running any risk of losing a poke.
And even Quilava can do something, its Fire Blast is the strongest attack on my team right now. As long as I insist on keeping it a few levels ahead of the rest until it evolves it shouldn't fall behind.
Edit: Part 33 up!

I also came across something slightly disturbing, which I'm going to cover at the end of the next part. I'm praying not many people have seen it, else I'm screwed. After all, it's a lot funnier when I'm the one to give the scoop.
Yeah, Heracross is probably the best example I can think of as to why usage-based tiers don't work.
Low use in OU -> Goes to UU -> completely overused in UU -> back to OU -> cycle repeats
