We can't all be rabid little shits like that particular breed of internet nerds, now can we? ;)
Besides, the Libelldrans that fit that bill, as far as I can tell, post almost solely in the Trashcan and haven't talked about anything related to Pokemon in ages.
Glad to see Crystal's being covered. Can't wait for the next updates, SF.
Ha ha, I just noticed you had a female Cyndaquil too. Not that that makes a big difference, but I find it ironic considering I would probably end up resetting feverishly to get one.
If you haven't caught it already, I'm gonna guess the last pokemon on your team (not in cronological order of course) will be fearow, it will have to at least be able to fly, and you probably won't go with pidgeot for obvious reasons.
During my first run of Diamond I was lucky enough to get a female Turtwig with the nature I wanted. However I don't have the obsession with female pokes that you do =P
Come to think of it there are only a handful of pokes I always make female when hacked, if they don't already have a predetermined one:
Pretty easy to see my motivation behind each one =P Stuff I find feminine but have never hacked weren't mentioned. Hippowdon is female not only because I love the sprite, but mothering hippos are supposed to be extremely dangerous.
There's one thing though, I don't fight with HM slaves unless it's a kamikaze attempt like I did with Spearow against the second Blue fight. That means Fearow's out of the question as a fighter. By the way, Dodrio can fly as well, and is obtained before gaining the ability to fly to boot. And I'm still not using it as a fighter.
Wait, what? You can get doduo before you get fly? Wow, falkner would've been a lot more interesting if they gave him a doduo and a pidgeotto, or maybe even dodrio since it's only lv 9.
IIRC Dodrio has base 110 attack, so for it to be remotely feasible FIRST gym poke, it would have to have a moveset consisting of weak unSTABed moves, which for a Normal/Flying is impossible. It has base 100 speed, too. I'm sure the nerd in us would love to fight a Dodrio with Drill Peck in the first gym for the challenge, but it seriously would murder things.
Roark just manages to pull that off with Cranidos and its whopping base 125 attack. The thing has no move exceeding 70 base power and it still hits like a truck. The "first" gyms are always tame since you can't expect the player to be packing much firepower at that point, and unless you grind, you never do, either.
Which is exactly what I said in my last video, incidentally: if I get out of Bellsprout Tower still below level 12, some leveling's going to be in order if I want to kill the Pidgeotto with minimal trouble. Bulbasaur got Vine Whip even later (level 13), but RBY didn't have you tackle excessively low-leveled Pokés and trainers only to *****-slap you with high-level bosses. GSC does. (Speaking of which, the second Silver fight will be soooo fun with just a Quilava and a Gastly that only knows Hypnosis and Lick.)
Your post takes me back to the year 2000 when my buddies and got to play G/S for the first time, and one friend got a massive head start on the rest of us. He was going on about some gym leaders being insane, and Miltank and Steelix's names came up (I did no research pre-release poke games until 3rd gen, so the names meant nothing to me other than correctly assuming, as we all did, that Onix evolved into Steelix.)
I didn't think Whitney or Jasmine were THAT bad, at least not to the level of notoriety that people give Whitney, but god damn did I find Claire a bitch to take down. Kingdra was a fat fucking slab of solid stats and no easily exploitable weakness; never mind the fact that you first had to deal with three Dragonairs with paralysis-happy Dragonbreath and solid attacks. You spent a fair bit of time talking about Sabrina; that Alakazam has nothing on the dreaded roster of Claire.
Well, it's seven levels higher in Yellow than in R/B/FRLG, and since I played Yellow first (and only used a Nidoking on top of that), I have a few bad memories.
Anyway, part 4 is up!

Edit: So how's the nightlife in Johto? Find out in part 5!

Edit 2: Part 6, where I cover the important news of OMG MAYBE GSC REMAKES!

Also, some idiot PMed me to try and expose me as the fraud I am by providing nonsensical proof that my Red LP wasn't actually from Pokémon Red. He also left a comment in part 47, so if you want to mock him you know where to go to.
(This is even funnier than the guy who accused me of hacking because I was in the low 50s at Blaine's gym BTW.)
HIM: That game isn't Pokemon Fire Red. It's Pokemon Yellow/Gold/ or Silver.
This is a Pokemon Red screenshot: http://img141.imageshack.us/img141/4283/proofw.png
ME: You're confusing as hell. What isn't FireRed? What is Yellow or GSC? Why are you saying a FireRed screenshot is actually Red?
ME: Proof of WHAT? I don't even have a clue what you're talking about!
HIM: Urg!... Proof that your video IS NOT Pokemon Red Version.
ME: ...why wouldn't it be? Check the sprites. Do they look like Yellow sprites to you? No. They're from Red and Blue. Check the gym rosters (Sabrina for example). Are they the Yellow rosters? Nope, still from Red and Blue. I still haven't understood what your proof even was, but here I just provided you all the evidence you'll ever need that this IS Pokémon Red.

And that's all. It does look like there are large chunks missing, but that's actually how it went. He made no sense at all.
I've dealt with a lot of those types of people leaving me comments, and my method is just to call them a fucktard and then block them. That's all they're going to understand, since they'll otherwise just fill my comments section with arguments and piss other people off. It even got to the point where my profile even says that if you accuse me of cheating, I'm just going to call you a fucktard and block you. =P
I made an honest effort to explain things to people in a way someone could understand without making TASes themselves, and a lot of people seemed to get that.
Then one too many dumbasses appeared with their irritating cries of "FAIL" or the slightly more restrained "you're using cheats", often on videos where someone already asked why the stunts looked impossible, and I said to hell with it.
Apparently my little assortment of subscribers sympathize with me, since those comments get a ton of thumbs down in a short period.
Edit: since I'm still on wii internet, to watch your vids I have to go to youtube and click your name directly, then view through your profile. If you could use URL tags, it'd be appreciated immensely.
Woooooooow. Your commentary barely made that worth watching. NOTHING occurred in that segment. Now imagine people that do silent LPs of RPGs.
This was one of the instances where I wasn't doing something else while listening to your commentary; I was eating a snack and just watching the screen, so my eyes had the visual treat of absolutely nothing. =P
It's not like it was a lot of fun to make, either :( Stupid school and its avalanche of text. Even burning an army of Bellsprouts to the ground, which comes next, would've been more appealing.
