When I have to break a video up into segments, I try to space them a little so the order isn't too screwed up. It kinda works. I've only had to do it on three occasions, I think.
Cool, I made the credits, though I honestly don't know what you consider my special contribution, seeing as I was only commenting on particular vids and here in this topic.
Looking forward to your next LP, all three are good games.
You provided me with a lot of banter to do during periods of downtime, and I've had a lot of people saying that banter was interesting, instructive and stuff.
And we can't forget the April Fools thing, either. That was classic, and it's ironically been my most watched video lately. I think I've got an idea of what I'll do next year, too.
When you put it that way, I guess I did contribute a bit.
Your banter is what makes watching a Pokemon LP worth it in the first place, considering the fact that otherwise the LPer just tries to mock or make fun of everything. Sure you had your fair share of that too, but it wasn't done incessantly, and it's not like you tried to make juvenile humor out of each action, conversation, whatever.
There'll be plenty more of that for Crystal I think; definitely not as much for 3D Blast. I foresee SMB3 getting a lot of rants based on Mario.
Oh my god. You gave me a heart attack when I saw the title. I was thinking how the heck did I miss that topic all this time. Peaked in, turns out title was just edited. >_>
But really, not only do Feraligatr's good moves run off the inferior attack stat, the team I'm planning on using up to the E4 already has two Waters, against which Feraligatr fails to stack up.
Then again, I expect problems with both Chikorita and Cyndaquil - the former later on, as it gets its best move at level 8, and the latter up to the final evolution (which sadly occurs very late), since that's when it can get Fire Punch and Thunderpunch. That means it's going to have to rely on Fire Blast and nearly nothing else up to what, the seventh gym? Hopefully Return doesn't take too much time to power up...
Then again, if you keep in mind my policy of doing everything to make the endgame easier, even if it means sacrifices early on, you can easily figure out which starter I'm going to choose.
Edit: So as it turns out, my reason for starting on the 28th is null and void. I wanted to grab the Pink Bow as early as possible, especially with no STABbed move in sight until level 12, but it's only doable after beating Falkner. I should've known they wouldn't let me get a hold item so early, even if it's a Pink Bow (and worse, the gen 2+3 iteration that only gives a 10% boost). But I'm not going to start it any earlier, a three-week break is just great. Especially since I had to go to work on all three days of the Easter weekend.
Absolutely not. Sadly, level-up moves and reusable TMs matter a lot, and not only does Heracross only have Megahorn to rely on, but you better not expect me to get to the E4 with a team in the mid-50s again. Especially since I won't have the benefit of getting team members as late and as high-leveled as I did in Red.
And yes, Lapras and Suicune are what I had in mind, especially since the rest of my planned team won't win any awards for bulkiness. Suicune will obviously be a Resttalker, and thus honor the tradition of having a legendary using a very cheap combo (they did remove the cheap part in the next generation, however). Gyarados is a no-no, of course... I'll catch the shiny one because it's a freaking shiny, but it's gonna be there for decoration. Starmie would've been my third choice, but having a second Water PLUS a second Psychic wasn't as appealing as having a second Water plus a second sleeper.
Indeed. They're not broken anymore, but they now have access to the elemental punches, and Gengar still remains top of the line when it comes to sleepers. Would you rather have me use Bellossom? ;)
