I know they give a crapload of TP, but the thing is that all the others just disappear after you beat them once. But not this one, and I'm sure it wasn't intended by the game designers. If it's not a glitch, it's still a blatant oversight.
Ah, sorry about that then. I didn't know that they aren't supposed to respawn.
Also, I've been waiting for the tackling of Zapdos for a very long time. :3
Meh. That's only Slow's opinion. There's not any evidence that the game designers/programmers didn't intend that Rubble to respawn. In fact, the fact that it respawns in the remake implies, in my mind, that it was not an oversight, but a gift to those who wish a chance to grind a little TP.
Slowbro indeed kicks ass, but I sure as hell didn't expect it to swallow a Leaf Storm like that, albeit by the skin of its two teeth in its gaping mouth.
Important note: Since I'm so close to Zapdos, I ran a test to see if Thunderbolt was super-effective like the game says it is. End result: the message shouldn't be there, Electric and Flying do cancel each other out, and Thunderbolt hits Zapdos for neutral, since Psychic deals about the same damage.
Seeing as this IS a legend with a terrible catch rate, are you going to record up until the fight and then, if the next few minutes worth of attempts are in vain, simply cut to the clip in which you actually catch it? You could otherwise be spending a long time messing with that thing.
I've seen plenty of LPs spend a lot of time in hard parts before. I'm going to record and upload it all, but you'll still have the option to go straight to the video where I catch it. Since I'll upload all the videos at the same time, it should be easy to see which one it is (namely, the last one).
Do what you want in your own game, it's not like it's affecting mine. Calling me a n00b for refusing to do it, though, is something else entirely.
Also, Slowbro kicks ass. I know it's worse than Starmie, but I still prefer the big slugger.
Oh, and no new movies for the next few days.
Oh, sorry Slow. I wasn't seriously calling you a noob, it was supposed to be a joke. I've been reading/watching and loving your work since you first rated all pokemon. I have nothing but respect for, apologies.
Can we be friends again?
Please?
Then it's a good thing you usually have a few subjects you can talk about at length, to stray from the monotony. I just hope you have enough of them, as you COULD be there a while =P
Well, I've been plagiarised again. Gave the guy a polite request/warning, and if he doesn't comply, I run to Bacon.
Fortunately the not remotely clever method of rearranging things does not get you off the hook when you have absolutely zero original coverage and all of your info is factual that can be taken from other guides (I don't mean factual as in "in your own words" fact, I mean straight up data.) On top of that this mother fucker took things that took me a very long time to research and compile, which exists nowhere else but my guide.
The first time this happened I dealt with an idiot over several emails who insisted he got his stuff from Nintendo Power, which was a blatant lie because the NP info was completely false. And it was over such a pathetic detail, too (HP values), but since this info was not fact but my own educated guesses, he had no chance.
If it sounds like I care so much about something so arguably frivolous, it's because I do. NOBODY STEALS MY FUCKING WORK!
Here's part 65! Warning: fellow Quebecers (are there any here, anyway?) should ready their flamethrowers. Just so that you don't say I didn't warn you.
I'm warming up to Clefable really, really fast. For such a run of the mill normal type with a stereotypically unimpressive BST to bog down its ridiculous movepool, Magic Guard is.. well you certainly don't need me to tell you it's frigging SICK.
Without the recoil, LO Double Edge almost seems unfairly powerful and even when running off a shitty SpAtt stat due to the spread catering to Att, Fire Blast STILL takes an enormous chunk of HP off of any steel not Regi or Heatran. Running a mixed set I'm sure Fire Blast is fatal to a lot of them.
The worst problem I had with it so far was choosing between Meteor Mash and Fire Blast. I had to have Softboiled but I didn't want to use it without Thunder Wave. It's barely bulky enough with the spread I've given it to take abuse here and there, but all it needs is one HP left to cripple and heal back up. I'm not used to Magic Guard being so useful though, so I'm still having to stifle my cursing, thinking I've been hurt badly enough to be finished off by weather.
You sure this doesn't belong in the new UU topic, since Clefable was brought up there?
But yeah, I've been saying that for years, Clefable may be lacking compared to most OUs, but it's by far and away the most enjoyable Pokémon to use in the game.
So I re-read Iggy's ULTIMATE GYARADOS COUNTER warstory for kicks and giggles, and I had the idea of making a video dissecting it. Because idiocy like that should be immortalized on a much bigger site than Libelldra.
Gonna start working on it now.
Edit: Screw this. I can't make the movie look halfway decent on Media Player, and if that's the case, there's no point in even trying to upload it to YouTube, which is going to take even more of a dump on it.
Well isn't he a swell guy- a friend calls me at noon today to say he's out grocery shopping, and that Toys 'R Us is near the store he's visiting. He tossed his DS in the car beforehand and said he'd stop by afterward to get the event Shaymin, which he then intends to trade to me. I didn't even ask him, let alone remark at any point prior that I wanted one, though I did plan to eventually hack one once we learned all of its specs. That was pretty cool of him.
I'm damn certain it will be. People will have all of the exact specs up soon enough.
He downloaded the gift, got the present itself, and a little while ago we checked the IVs and this chia pet has 29 in all stats except SDef, a 17.
It was gonna happen eventually: I got emailed about the bootleg copy of CT and the Golem Overlord orgy.
I've been messing around with the Poke Radar this past day due to bordeom, also ignoring the fact that I use Pokesav. Ended up getting two shiny Spoinks during its swarm, then went back as the new day began and while I was in the area that Zigzagoons swarmed, I picked up two shiny Sentrets. One of the crappier shiny sprites, but according to Serebii it's rare. I've thus far failed to get a shiny Aron, and it's as rare as Sentret (I also happen to actually WANT a shiny Aron.)
Before you think I had gross luck, no, I actually chained Spoink and Sentret to 40 before resetting the radar solely to get shiny patches to appear.
