Honestly, I think they should bring back Garchomp to OU. As they banned him right when Platnium got leaked onto the Internet. Which is just plain retarded of them. I mean, what would you rather prefer?
And now, you can get the 3 Kanto Birds in Sinnoh. They appear like Mesprit and Cresselia, after you've acquired the National Dex and Pokeradar and you talk to Professor Oak in Eterna City to activate the event.
This is basically a kick in the balls to the old QA Scizor. If you manage to get in 3 SDs, you basically have 1 extra SD under the belt thanks to Technician and Stab for Bullet Punch. I put Quick Attack in here as it deals more damage to Gyarados/Zapdos/Infernape/Garchomp/Salamence and the likes of those that resist Bullet Punch. This set will bring Scizor to OU, bet on it.
The only known new Sucker Punch users are Shiftry, Golem, Froslass, and Skuntank. People say that's cool for Skuntank, but it isn't. Skuntank was not starved for dark moves; it needed more to run off its attack than just [Dark move] and Explosion.
Golem on the other hand is looking pretty cool right now, though no one will give a rat's ass about Golem if Tyranitar can get Sucker Punch. Poor Golem. Why do they have to give everything it can do to everyone else? The only thing Rhyperior and Tyranitar don't have any equivalent to is Explosion. Otherwise, anything Golem does, they do it better.
Anyway, I look forward to the full move tutor lists and their compatibilities. I want Superpower to be spread a little more, for one.
The only thing that Scizor set has with QA is priority. Resisted X-Scissor is the same strentgh otherwise.
Damnit, I wanted to check out the new sprites but Serebii's site is loading like shit now. It must be swamped.

lol, someone didn't read properly. I said IF- and I kinda have a good feeling that he will- IF Tyranitar can get Sucker Punch through the move tutor it'll just continue to make Golem look subpar, because every cool move they've been giving it is also being given to better rocks or grounds.
Golem with a priority move, ANY priority move (as long as it's physical, durr) is already a big improvement. Weakened Pokés going for a Grass or Water move aren't safe anymore.
Slightly more comments later, mom has an emergency.
They killed Scizor's sprite. On the other hand, Weavile and Abomasnow kicks ass. Rhyperior is screaming Eat me or something. Did I tell you that Abomasnow and Weavile's new sprite kicks ass? Especially Abomasnow's sprite?
Weavile's sprite isn't *that* cool. You had me expecting something impressive, but that didn't cut it. =/
I agree with Scizor's sprite sucking, it looks too spindly and scrunched now. Torterra's doesn't look much different at all. Boring. A few of them look too goofy now, like Lickilicky and Magnezones. Awkward poses at least.
Infernape, Rhyperior (lol), Magmortar and Gliscor certainly have cooler sprites than before.

The rest of the move tutor moves are up. The additions we didn't already know are pretty ho-hum. Gastro Acid and Wring Out won't get us much. Serebii said he hopes to have their compatibility lists finished by the weekend.
Sadly, I can't tell if Trick Gengar is for real or not, but judging from that Hypnosis think, I think it's not real. They never, EVER touch move stats mid-gen... especially if it's negating a very nice change D/P brought about.
Snowpoint Regigigas is now at level 1, apparently. Slight bit of a shame, since it required some strategy to catch without having your team wrecked by that huge attack stat. What I did in Diamond was constantly swap between Gyarados and Luxray so that even when Slow Start wore off it wouldn't do a thing. Yeah, I called that strategy - pretty elaborate by in-game standards.
On IRC yesterday, CrossDragon suggested that Sky Shaymin not working on Wi-Fi might be due to the Platinum server not being up yet. Hopefully that's that, because improving Shaymin and Rotom (Giratina's actually pretty meh, since you need the Platinum Orb to keep it in Origin form) to sky-high levels then denying us the right to use them where it actually matters would be the dumbest move Gamefreak ever did. Worse than evolving Chansey, by far.
But back to Trick and Knock Off. The least Pokémon that get them, the better... the fact that we don't know anything that gets them so far is encouraging. Unless the Gengar thing is true, of course.
Unfortunately (and understandably for good reason) more people aren't into console wifi battling, because the Genius Sonority games have always made it a point to let you use whomever you wanted, and once they produce their next game, Sky and Origin forms will certainly be usable without a problem. In fact, they might not even force you to use the Platinum Orb to do it.
If random wifi on PBR allowed 6v6 it might be different. Length is kinda irrelevant as I've had hour-long matches just doing a freaking 3v3 (Boah vs Resttalking Milotic; its other two moves were Confuse Ray and Ice Beam, so it was just a matter of me finally being able to kill it before it could heal again. It took at LEAST 45 minutes to get the crit that led to Milotic's death.)
Yep... looks like Alakazam will be hanging on to Focus Blast for dear life like a lifesaver to justify its use. And yes, I know Gengar also gets it, but their typings are different enough that it makes a difference.
Superpower is a huge, HUGE slap to the face of Blaziken. I can imagine how it went:
Tajiri: So, Blaziken, you've been with us for a while now... it's time to reward you appropriately.
Blaziken: So, what do you have for me?
Tajiri: A brand new Fighting move...
Blaziken: Go on.
Tajiri: 120 power...
Blaziken: *realizes what's going on* Yes?
Tajiri: 100 accuracy...
Blaziken: Yes...
Tajiri: Reduces defense...
Blaziken: YES...
Tajiri: And attack.
Blaziken: YES YES THANK... wait, what? Not special defense?
Tajiri: Nope, attack.
Blaziken: NOOOOOOO *jumps out of the window* OOOOOOOO...hey there Regice! Got shafted again?
Regice: Stomp. That bastard gave me STOMP.
Blaziken: But how can you stomp anything with these nonexistent feet of yours?
*Blaziken falls to the ground, and Regice falls right on top of him, crushing him to death*
Regice: Like that.
*Back on 70F*
Tajiri: Hahaha. I love doing this. Maria, would you send me Flareon, please?
