Let's see...

Tales of the Abyss. I had actually been looking at getting this for a while, I just never got around to looking. Tales of Symphonia is IMO the best game of all time, so I had to give this one a try. So far it's great, I actually like the characters more than the ones in Symphonia, which is an achievement. The story is OK so far, nothing too special. I'm loving Anise, though. The battle system is as amazing as ever, but I like Symphonia's controls more. I can't get used to Free Run due to not having it for years in Symphonia. Great game, hope it lasts a while.

Megaman Anniversary Collection. Strangely enough, I've never played any of the original Megaman games. In honor of MM9, I bought this to make sure I've played through them all. Admittedly, I suck at Megaman. Never gotten past any boss except for Web Spider in X4. But I've beaten Bomb Man, Guts Man, and Elec Man in MM1 so far, and I'm enjoying it.

Metroid Prime 2: Echoes. Never owned it, heard it wasn't too good. But it's Metroid, so I'm giving it a try. So far I'm loving it. I enjoy it more than Prime 1. The scanning system has been greatly improved, and I've gotten used to the not-so-good controls by now.

Metroid Prime. I haven't owned this myself yet, but I've borrowed and nearly beaten my friend's copy, so I decided to pick it up myself. It was only $7, so why not?

Kirby Air Ride. Yes. Oh God YES! I owned this game previously, but lost it at some point. This game is amazingly fun, not for the racing, but for City Trial. I remember before this game, my sister and I didn't want anything to do with each other, but once we played multiplayer once, we were hooked. And now we actually get along fairly well. ^_^ I'm serious, this is the only game I've played where you can do the same thing for hours on end and never get bored!

Mercenaries. For the Xbox. My friend picked up the new Mercenaries 2 while I picked up these games. He recommended I try Mercenaries for the original Xbox, seeing as I don't have a 360. So far, I haven't touched it. I'm having too much fun with KAR! :D I'll probably try it out soon though.

Finally, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon 2: Explorers of Darkness. Never played the first one. I actually find this game pretty confusing, but fun. It's kind of addicting at times. It can be hard, even early on. I started as a Torchic with my Treecko partner. Eh, I was actually hoping someone here could help me with the basics, because I'm pretty confused. I love it, though.

I also got two Burger King games as a joke gift for my friend for $3. Anyway, I am satisfied with my purchases. I guarantee they will interfere with my homework very shortly. ^_^ G'night, y'all.

So far I'm loving it. I enjoy it more than Prime 1.

This guy knows what he's talking about.

Have you gotten to Sanctuary Fortress yet? This place is probably the most gorgeous in any game ever. Oh, and remember, when you fight Rezbits (the floating balls that sometimes glitch your suit), charged Dark Beam + missile. ALWAYS. They can take ridiculous amounts of firepower otherwise and survive... I think they take six or seven super missiles to kill on Hard Mode. You should also use the same technique to kill Dark Commandos... shorter and more cost-effective than charged Light Beam shots.

I tried getting into the Megaman series before, and I stopped at Guts Man's stage in MM1. ****ing lifts.

Nice, looking forward to the SF then. I only just got the missile launcher, though. Let me tell you, I love this scan system. It tells you how much of a specific category you filled upon each scan. For example, after scanning two Force Two GF Troopers, it tells you that you've filled 1% of logbook scans, [insert number here]% of lore scans, ~16% of GF Trooper lore, 33% of Force Two GF Trooper lore, and 100% of that particular scan. It's genius, and helps me with 100%, being the obsessive, impulsive guy that I am. :D

Oh Snap. Another Megaman fan. Personally, I've enjoyed Megaman 2 and Megaman 8 the most. Because well there the games out of the 2 series that I actually beat. >_> And I'm looking forwards for SF3 as well. >:D Red Joker is what I'm getting. >_>

I'm an OCD-level completionist as well, so the scan system was really welcome. Much better ordered than in Prime 1, that's for certain.

Here, let me give you a tip so as to not make your Echoes experience annoying: don't use the light beacons to fully heal yourself (you'll see what I mean when you get there), as it takes about two minutes just to recharge a single tank. Some people actually go as far as to camp near a light beacon for 10 minutes, then complain the game's bad. Light beacons are there to give you spots to shoot enemies and other things from, not as heal spots. It's not as necessary once you get the Dark Suit, but still recommended.

Also, beam ammo is plentiful, so don't hesitate to use it when you feel you need it (just wait until you get the Light Beam until you start using them seriously, for reasons that'll become obvious later). The default Power Beam is fine for killing weaker critters, though. Finally, don't waste your time using the non-super missile beam combos, as they suck really bad. The Darkburst is excellent against one boss, but otherwise don't even bother. Oh, and not gonna spoil anything, but the final beam weapon is a disappointment. Non-charged shots have their purposes (especially against the second-to-last boss), but never charge that thing up. Ever.

Isn't it? The most enjoyable sandbox game ever IMO. Too bad Mercenaries 2 was such a let down.
