The Libelldra Forge's damage calculator has been finally uploaded to the site after remaining on a separate site for a few months. The calculator was programmed by polite and Fantasty and was tested for accuracy by many others. This damage calculator is as accurate as the known damage formula, and has been checked and double-checked. It is also relatively easy to use. Please use this thread to report any bugs or inaccuracies with the calculator

The link goes to the stat calc, not damage.

Sweetness. It still reminds me of my Java one I made for the site long before polite and Fantasty created this more web-friendly one. xD

Yup. That's the stat calculator. Anyway, I'm glad to have a new damage calc. I've been using Metalkid's, which can be inaccurate.

It's taken 3 and a half months to realize I've posted the wrong link???

And noted.

yea.. that is kinda worrying. 3.5 months lol...

but the damage calc is pretty useful.

Also Jumpman16 on Smogon said this:
"The online calculator I use is: http://ownpurpose.com/damage_calculator_test.php. It is extremely easy to use and is virtually perfect, as the only inconsistency I know of is the calculator being off by a point when calculating the damage of low-level pokemon, which of course is largely irrelevant to competitive pokemon which is played at Level 100."

I play the Little Cup metagame (Lv. 5 first stagers) so if there is a small glitch at low levels it would be nice to know which way it was a point off.

Yeah, I believe Aldaron had spread the damage calculator around as his last act of kindness before leaving us. However, if you would all refer to the damage calculator on this site instead of on the beta site, that would be great, as it is great advertisement for us.

I personally use the on site one, that quote was from Jumpman in an announcement on Smogon:
http://www.smogon.com/forums/announcement.php?f=27&a=70

My question was really about the glitch that he suggests happens at low levels. He said that the calc is "A point off", in which direction is it a point off? To high or low?

If anyone could point out exactly what's wrong, please do so. If I'm up to it, I'll fix it.

Congratulations, you caught me.

Would you like to give a nickname to me?

Okay but seriously, about the damage calculator, any details on what seems to be the problem?

Other than what Jumpman16 said (quoted in my previous post: "the only inconsistency I know of is the calculator being off by a point when calculating the damage of low-level pokemon"), no. It seems to be pretty close to the mark.
However I have not done any specific tests, if I find that a specific calculation is off I will give details.
