I don't think I've been on libelldra long enough, or am good enough at pokemon to create the topic, so how bout we brainstorm the topic.

Here's my ideas, people can say okay or no on anyone's ideas (except probably fantasty's and ruesaps'

1. Maybe a tournament on the anniversery day on the libelldra shoddy server.

2. An awards ceremony, my ideas for awards are: Most knowledgable player, most improved player, king of miscellaneous pokemon discussion, king of competitive pokemon discussion, king of gathering grounds, king of the trashcan, most hilarious post, post with most replies, most respected admin

3. SEXY PARTY!!!

We're actually "planning" on something like number 2. The sad thing is that it will mostly be people that hang around IRC. Don't take my word on that though.

It was like 3 days ago. Besides, gameboy's doing a topic and Fantasty and Ruesap are gone. Not to mention aldaron who left Pokemon.

I'm still a bit sad that aldaron left.  =/  He was really gung ho about getting Libelldra's analyses pages on the right track - something I was really excited to do too from the artistic standpoint.


A tournament would be neat, but I doubt most players could make it on that day at the same time.

I was thinking the same thing, ArecP.  *shrugs*  Who knows, though?  Recently, whenever I log into IRC just to visit, there's hardly any activity.

As an appedage to fineifold's list, I was thinking little gift things would be nice for Libelldra.  I'm not sure if you guys are familiar with how that goes, but usually when a site has an anniversary, the users on the site whip up a little something to commemorate the event - a picture, story, history, etc.

I think someone who has been here since the beginning should definitely make a topic to at least recognise the fact that this site is now a year old, even if the actual anniversary was a few days ago. I'm kind of annoyed that MoI claimed it, then just seemed to forget about it (I don't know the full story here, so if he has a legitimate reason, then fair enough, but otherwise...). Hopefully Gameboy or Ruesap will make a good topic soon.

I'm also surprised he's left. I didn't even realise at first, I just noticed he was never on IRC one day, and then found out later that he had quit. Shame, he was cool, and it was nice to see someone with so much enthusiasm to get the site back on it's feet.</span />

I also have no idea why Gameboy is doing it either; I mean ever since him and ruesap start playing GH3 together he has gotten more privlages.

Hmm it might be because I'm in a bad mood for the fact that a certain someone is being a little uhh (insertnonforumappropiatewordhere) in #deepnet. The reason I was doing it, and I say was is because the hell I'm doing it after Iggy and Cross decided to trash it, is because moi's lazy 13 year old ass dumped it on me. Of course I was willing to take it, since he had been working on it for four days and got next to nothing done. Forget the irc topic, someone needs to change it, because the only writing I will ever care to do is my own, and maybe do the ba story eventually.

Look up. Also, me and Ruesap have been playing guitar hero for half a year now. We more recently (and by more recently i say the last 3 months, HH, tell us before this week the last time you cam on) The reason we are ircops is because Polite created a new server and he needed people he could trust to take care of it. It's not some bs that we're in it together, hell, Ruesap wasn't going to get it until he decided give me the banhammer.

Now, in all seriousness, I plan on telling you what I had plan for the topic. A history of libelldra. I sent it to gameboy because he agreed with it, and is currently blaming me for random bullshit. If you agree, don't complain and try to wiggle out of it. If you don't want to do it, I'll find spare time here and accept responsibility.

I'm on vacation, so I don't know what we can do. However, I'll try and get in touch with others to see if we can plan something, however, most of us are away so it's quite difficult.

Doing it on the Libelldra server wouldn't be the most reliable way, so Official would be better. Not that many people there anyway since they all left for Smogon. Actually Smogon would be the most reliable. *shrugs*

Just tell me whenever you guys want this done. I, myself, have nothing to offer for the winner. This is more of a bragging rights thing. We'll probably do this to test our tiers out as well. So since we have 6 tiers...

Er...that's a lot of tourny. I'll probably cut it it to 2 Tournaments, Best 2 out of 3, and first two matches will be a specific tier. 3rd match will be user choice. Something like that. BANK ON IT PEOPLE.

I'm more worried about the number of battlers we have. I'm expecting many of our better battlers to be gone for the summer, which will push the tournament way beyond the anniversary (we're already past it, anyways) and make it harder to coordinate our schedules. And what good is an anniversary tournament if we don't have any of our best battlers fighting, or one of them wiping out all the other random tourney goers?

Oh, and Feraligatr, please for God's sake, spellcheck your topic. And send it to one of us for proofreading. <_< (But mainly spellcheck it.)

As I said on IRC, I'd like everyone to PM myself, menofuntall, or L-beast to just run a short confirmation through us, as we can probably organize a small event. I can proudly say that with this we can start to spark ourselves, hopefully, as with some tragic things, we've slowed down. However, I myself have been part of this procrastination. We need to do stuff, and hopefully with more time, we will try and get things back together.

Arec, I'd like you to talk with me on IRC. Gameboy has no say in this, and I'd just like to talk with you on some stuff. I don't have much time
