So I finally thought of a challenge that'll make a run for my money.

Here it is:

~LevelCap is 50. If any Pokemon exceeds that limit, I must either breed orcatch a new one and the Level Cap gets deduced by 5 Levels for thatPokemon.
~No restorative items, only Berries can be used.
~No Pokemon Center
~I can only use the PC 10 times (since I can use that to heal) UNLESS I need to replace a Pokemon with the EXACT same Pokemon.
~Pokemon in the party can only evolve ONCE, if a second time happens to occur, I must either breed or catch a new one.
~Myparty will consist of STARTER (Chimchar), Kricketot, Bidoof, Zubat (orStarly), Psyduck, Pachirusu, and their second evolved forms at alltimes, when applicable.
~No HM Slaves, the limit for HMs per Pokemon is 2.
~Rest areas can only be used 4 times.
~No TMs but HMs can be used.

...DAMN, you're nuts. IIRC when I got to the E4 I had a team made of Dialga, Uxie, Torterra, Heracross, Gyarados and Gengar all in the high 50s and with TMs all over the place, and I STILL downed several Full Restores and Max Revives along the way. My Pokémon with the worst BST were Gengar and Heracross at 500, and 500 will be your BEST (with Golduck at that).

There's one major loophole in your rules, though: do you allow X-Attack and so on? The guy who beat Ruby with a level 93 Wurmple abused them to hell and back.

With that said, I'll try making up movesets that fit those criteria:

Monferno: Flame Wheel, Close Combat, Mach Punch, Slack Off
Kricketune: X-Scissor, Sing, Strength, Rock Smash
Bibarel: Headbutt, Super Fang, Waterfall, Surf
Golbat: Fly, Confuse Ray, Poison Fang, Bite
Golduck: Waterfall, Zen Headbutt, Rock Climb, Screech
Pachirisu: Super Fang, Cut, Discharge, Sweet Kiss

While it was difficult choosing among ****ty moves, it was equally difficult managing Surf and Waterfall. I wanted to give Golduck physical moves so as to take full advantage of Screech, especially since it's going to be your main powerhouse. Problem is, Bibarel's SA stinks, and while I wanted to give it Yawn, you need a surfer, so Surf it is instead. Hated giving Pachirisu Cut with Swift and Quick Attack around, but I really had no choice.

Yeah, I'll be abusing X-attack and such.

There are other loopholes in the criteria, too. Let's see if you can find them.

~I started the game and pick Chimchar as my Starter. Getting a femalewas necessary for this challenge so I kept SRing for a female one. Ifinally got one and it has a Quiet nature (;_;) but it's Mischievousthough, meaning I might have either a 26 or 31 SpAtk IV :). I thinkit's IVs are pretty good, the Speed is horrible though, so I'll be ableto use this for later when I have to breed another Chimchar...hopefullythat won't happen. Nicknamed it Apemon for some reason.

~ Aftergetting Running Shoes and Pokedex, I went ahead and caught Bidoof (andnamed it Food). It has a Hasty nature which isn't too bad. And it hasthe ability, Simple :)

~ After Dawn taught me how to catch aPokemon, which I already knew. I faced my first Trainer battle...andlost epically to Starly...but it was with a cause because my Pokemonwere low on health anyway and the free Health restoration is good.*Doesn't count as using the PokeCenter btw, forgot to mention that. Ihave to use the PokeCenter willingly for it to count. And now I'll addanother rule. I can only black out 15 times or else challengefails...that rule starts now meaning this one doesn't count ;)*

~As of right now, I'm training Bidoof until it can hold its own inbattle, so that will probably be to level 10. Chimchar is level 10right now, too.

~ After getting to Jubilife City, I did the Poketch crap, and went toOreburgh. I was gonna catch Kricketot on Rt. 203 but it only comes outat night or in the morning. So I'll just wait until later.

~ Arrived at Oreburgh and went to the mines to get Roark.

~ I skipped his goons and went straight to battle him, leading with Bidoof, who I taught Rock Smash.

Isent out Bidoof and he sent out Geodude. I use Defense Curl and he usesRock throw doing 9 damage. I use Rock Smash and that does less than 1/4but it lowers Geodude's defense. Geodude uses Stealth Rock. I use RockSmash again and it gets him to half of his health, lowering his defenseagain. Another Rock Smash and he's almost KOd lowering defense again.This time he used Rock Throw and now I'm at 5 health. Roark uses...aPotion and I use Rock Smash, getting him back to red health. I RockSmash one last time to KO it.

Up next was Onix, Bidoof is probably going to die here. I rock.....Onix was faster >_>, and he KOs Bidoof.

Isend out Monferno and the SR takes off 5 HP. I use Mach Punch and itdoes about 1/4 to Onix. Onix uses Rock Throw and does 7 damage. MachPunch again and it gets him to yellow but Onix used Screech this time.Again Roark used a Potion and I Mach Punched him back to yellow.Another Mach Punch and it gets Onix to red. Rock Throw from Onix getsme to Yellow (17 HP) and I KO it back with Mach Punch.

Herecomes Cranidos. I might have a problem with this one. I use MachPunch...and it was a critical hit! I OHKO'd it and leveled up to 15.

I had a run for my money there. I got really lucky, lol.

No offense, but your storytelling ability is rather lacking.

Heh. Steelix is slow as molasses, but Onix is surprisingly quick compared to it. I was really surprised when my Grotle (yeah, it had already evolved, sue me) was beaten to the punch by it.

Edit: One problem I can see is that you can't abuse the old couple on route 212 for money to buy X-items and the like too much, else you'll be sailing past level 50 in record time. I should know, "overleveled" is my middle name.

Actually, I can catch/breed multiple Pokemon of the same species and battle them over and over, without ever reaching or going over the level cap.  That is one exploit/loophole revealed.

Oh, that's interesting.

Another problem, then, is that the Wurmple guy used Full Restores inbetween X-items. You can't do that, so imagine how hard it's going to be to set up.

And let me guess, you can use PP-restoring items, right? I mean, unlike in MD, there's no regular attack to fall back on.

Edit: You really should drop the blackout rule. If you don't, I predict you're not going to get to Crasher Wake at that pace.

I don't know, I think the Blackout rule should stay. I just messed up on that one. Who knows, it might bite me in the ass later.

That's why I think it should go. Why should a gym leader end any shot you have at doing it because you lost to twins at the other end of the world? Wurmple guy attempted the E4 a lot more times than just 15, I can tell you that much. ****, just parachuting that team I made up from your rules earlier today against Cynthia, I can't see how you can possibly win once in less than 15 attempts, let alone going through the entire E4 before that.

I look forward to these. I'm betting you won't get past the 6th Gym. >_>

Meh, I decided to take the Black Out rule out. I'll revise and clarify my rules for GameFAQS and I'll copy them here.

I'm going to revise and clarify my rules a little bit just in case some questions are asked later.

~Myparty will consist of STARTER (Chimchar), Kricketot, Bidoof, Zubat (orStarly), Psyduck, Pachirusu, and their second evolved forms at alltimes, when applicable.

~Level Cap is 50. If any Pokemon exceedsthat limit, I must either breed or catch a new one and the Level Capgets deduced by 5 Levels for that Pokemon. It is possible that I cancatch multiple Pokemon of the same species and use those respectively,switching them out at anytime. Again, rule 1 still applies.

~No restorative items, only Berries can be used. All other items can be used such as X-Attack, X-Defend, etc.

~Nurse Joy CANNOT heal my Pokemon unless it is from a Black Out.

~I can only use the PC to switch my Pokemon for the same Pokemon.

*Iam taking the Black Out rule out as it does seem like I am onlylimiting myself from the challenge even more. I will keep track of myBlack Outs to see if it would be possible to do it with the rulethough. So the Black Out rule is out.*

~MyHouse in Twinleaf CAN be used to restore health BUT I cannot Fly thereor anywhere near there. On the way there I must battle everything Iencounter and that goes with coming back to. I am able to Fly only whenI come back to the spot I was at previously. All other "Bed" areascannot be used.

~No TMs but HMs can be used.

I think that about clears it up.

-I have caught my entire party and some extras for the trip. I alsobegan planting my berries so majority of the time will be garneringthose.

Zubat (Hardy), Pachirisu (Hasty), Psyduck (Lax), andKricketot (Docile). Mostly Neutral Natures and one bad nature forPsyduck :(. Oh well on with my mission.

Charm on Pachi is pretty appealing as I don't see it really doing anything else with its suck ass offensive base stats. I'll probably replace it with Sweet Kiss if I were to use your movesets because confusion never works for me only against me.

I'm not sold on Charm, honestly, because while it doubles physical damage, two times zero is still zero. Unless you plan on switching out, of course. IMO Pachirisu's best kept for stuff that doesn't require the use of your microscopic offensive stats, like Sweet Kiss or Super Fang.

Well, I plan on using Charm and switching out. I think it'll be useful for Garchomp because I don't see anything that I can take it out with in under 3-4 Hits...well maybe CC but iono.

You must be really dedicated to try something like this. What I like about this challenge is even if you take out one rule it makes the whole challenge significantly easier. The rules synergize to make the game hell. Good Luck Arec, good luck.
