Well, since no one else has a Sandslash topic yet, I thought I would. This is also my first post for this kind of thing, so...
Sandslash(M)@Iron Ball
Nature: Impish
Ability: Sand Veil EV's: 252 Attack, 220 Defense, 38 Sp. Defense
Move set:
-Fling
-Gyro Ball
-Sandstorm/X-Scissor(If you have a Tyranitar with Sand Stream or any other pokemon with Sandstorm.)
-Shadow Claw/Thief
"Well, for starters, the Iron Ball is for Gyro Ball and Fling. Gyro Ball fast Pokemon and you'll do scarring damage. And Fling it away when needed. Sandstorm is if you want an evasion boost, but X-Scissor if you don't need it. Shadow Claw is for coverage and the high critical hit ratio, but if you want to keep using Fling for a little bit, use Thief. The Impish nature is for that little bit of defense and a power boost to Gyro ball. The 38 EV's to Sp.Defense is there just in case."
Well, that's my Sandslash idea. I myself am training one right now, so I'll post if it works.<em />
Um, I'm not sure that's going to be that effective. A STABbed EQ has 150 power, which is the same as Gyro Ball at full power (yes, I'm aware EQ has an immunity, but that's what Stone Edge is there for). Thief is equally horrid, as the Choice items and Leftovers hit for 10 (!!!) power with Fling, and Life Orb's barely better off at 30.

I thought of using Stone Edge and Earthquake. The main reason I chose Gyro Ball over Stone Edge was because Gyro Ball deals normal damage to Ground Types and is Super Effective to Ice/Rock Pokemon. But I admit I didn't realize the weakness of Choice Items, which is what I guess alot of people use. But I'll think of Stone Edge and Earthquake. Thanks for the tip.
True, true. Keep in mind this is a test Sandslash. I'm trying out different ways to use the Pokemon I have and not copy the other Analyses. Like everything, I know it has it's flaws. And since I am actually training it(Unlike alot of people out there.) it will take me a while to get it to the attacker I want.
Well, it's not like Sandslash has many possibilities. It's got a little more than the token Ground/Rock movepool, but aside from Rapid Spin and Night Slash none of those possibilities can work. It's basically a crappy Gliscor that trades instant recovery for Rapid Spin.
Really, as far as I can tell the only workable novelty on Sandslash is Counter. 110 defense can make it work.
Testing online is way faster than it is in game. Trust me, every new and creative thing you will come up with has already been done. Unless it is outright stupid.

Well, I am an unorthodox trainer. I find Pokemon that aren't used or are said to not be worth it and find ways to use them. For instace,
the main reason I gave Sandslash Thief and Fling was to hinder the opponent. If a Blissey has Leftovers, Thief takes that away. If a Pokemon has a Choice Item(And Sandslash lives to tell the tale.) it's now gone for that match.
And Fineifold, what do you mean by shoody? I'm assuming its some Pokemon website, but I've never heard of it. Can I get a link from you? Or anyone else for that matter?
