Wow, Bubblebeam lost a lot of PP, from 19 all the way down to 10. In MD1 it was the definitive Water move because of range, high PP and 100% accuracy, but here Bubble's probably better (not to mention Water Pulse, depends on whether you prefer 30% confusion or 10% speed drop). In fact, it seems all the good moves lost quite a bit of PP... I haven't seen Bullet Seed yet, but I imagine it's dipped into single-digit territory.
On one hand, the PP drop seems fair, since dungeons in general are shorter in this one (with the longest non-Zero Isle dungeon clocking in at about 50 floors, I think). But since the game is so much harder, is it really that fair? Better start stocking up on those Max Elixirs, by golly (not that I haven't started doing so yet, yup yup).
Taking care of the dojo right now. Two mazes down, 7 more to go, and screw the Ghost Maze for now.
Edit: So it turns out Bubblebeam lost its 100% accuracy, as I saw Surskit miss with it. That means they tampered with the power and accuracy of moves as well, not just PP. Gogogo Bubble and Water Pulse.
Edit 2: Apparently, Hustle's accuracy drop only applies to physical attacks, so for those looking to assemble the perfect Togekiss, it just got even better.
Edit 3: The egg hatched... it's a Shroomish! The initial stats are great, though it's probably because it comes from an egg... but the stat growth is pretty sad. Pokémon that come from eggs also have a 4-move moveset rounded out by egg moves. Mine had Fake Tears, Swagger and Worry Seed. Super. Just super. Where's Seed Bomb? Wake-Up Slap? False Swipe?
Speaking of False Swipe, it's by far the most damaging move in the entire game (or at least it was in MD1), and even at extremely high levels the difference in damage can be somewhat noticeable. It's just that it can't kill anything, but other than that it's incredible. Since it's a TM now, I suggest you keep an eye out for it.
