Yeah, I know what you mean about types that need ranged attacks, still looking for a Bullet Seed TM so when I evolve after beating the main game and if I get a Rock Polish TM, I can Rock Polish+Bullet Seed with Torterra, but Energy Ball works for now.

Also, thanks for the Shadow Ball code, I'll try it out.

I'm in Quicksand Cave and I recruited a Skorupi (Lv25), it knows Pin Missile, which is multi-hit and ranged, it's stats don't seem too great though, which is a shame.

EDIT:Wow, I just noticed a wild Tyranitar here.

Heh, I wish luck for you guys on your boss battles, you'll need it. Do you guys know anything about the engima part or secret stoneplate (or something similar to that) because I cant seem to find anything and I want some legendaries. Also, do you guys know how to make your starters evolve, because...

***Spoilers***

once you reach the area where you can evolve, it says you and your partner can't evolve because of something with time or whatever.

So like, someone said that there is another storyline to follow after the main one, but I can't seem to do anything about it. I guess I should just wait for more info....

And on an unrelated note: being able to do sentret duty + getting reviver seed every time = win.

Edit: Also, does anyone know anything about the friend bow?

In order to evolve your starter and partner, you have to go all the way to the end of the story, then do things that aren't very well described as of now (though recruiting Dialga, Palkia and Manaphy has been mentioned, I think).

Ok, I hate Monster Houses, especially those with a Girafirig.

Edit: What do you do with Eggs?

>.< that sucks, dialga was hard enough the first time ( funny story, my friend is about lvl 50 and stuck on dialga, he started that level at 34) and I heard he was harder the second time. I don't even know how to get Palkia, and the 7 wondermail codes I have (serebii ones) say I can't handle those jobs yet. You would'nt happen to know if i can re-recive the legendary wondermail codes, would you? Because they take up 7/8 of my job lists, and I like to do more than one at a time, and I'm afraid I wont recieve them if I delete them.

CrossDragon: You got gangraped by Agility-boosted Pokés, huh? There's a video on YouTube of exactly that happening. As for eggs, I think you're supposed to take them to Chansey in town, but I'm not that far yet.

Gameboy: I'm pretty sure you can delete the codes then re-input them later on... what triggers you not being able to re-do it is actually FINISHING the mission. From what I heard, you have to complete Crevice Cave (the one with Froslass as a boss fight) before being able to go to the event dungeons. I might be wrong though.

As for me, I did a few optional missions, and as a reward for one of them a Nidorina joined my team out of the blue! Wow, they weren't kidding when they said evolved forms would be more accessible... in MD1 the only way you'd get one before Rayquaza is by having Pikachu as starter or partner.

Yeah, the evolution thing has been bugging me for a bit now. And the stinking Croagunk's trading post. I have a bunch of these Cards meant for Pokemon I don't have. Yet when I try to trade them, it doesn't work.

That's because you need another item. For example, you need BOTH Squirtle's Bubble and Squirtle's Card (Japanese names of course) to trade them for a Water Guard Stone. And you need all three of them to trade for an Aqua Missanga. It's the same for about every Pokémon with held items, minus legendaries.

Babies also have special items exclusive to them that are only held by hatched Pokémon. One such item is the Thunder Shard, which does the same thing as the uber Togepi/tic/kiss item, but works only on Pichu. Not Pikachu or Raichu.

Edit: A shameless copy-paste of Smogon's dungeon pages found its way to GameFAQs. Hurray for plagiarism!

*sigh* You wouldn't happen to know what the recruitment rates are, would you peeps? I decided to do the Groudon one, and I've hated resseting for something ever since my shiny dialga *shudders*
Also, is it possilbe to face groudon after the first time? Or is it just a one time boss?

D'you guys think I should get this game? Or maybe The World Ends With You *shot*

Anyway i don't see the connection between Time and Darkness, nor do I see the connection between the respective legendaries. Darkness gets the all powerful Mewtwo, while time gets Celebi. Conversely Celebi represents Time well, while Mewtwo doesn't at all represent Darkness (unless you're a radical fundamentalist christian).

I hope for you that Cubone hasn't been nerfed too hard. It probably was, because starters always have exceptional stats... and it isn't one anymore. Shame, because Bone Rush owns your soul. Then again, it's the only move worth using in its natural movepool, as the only other good ones (Ice Beam and Flamethrower) are TMs. Edit: Bonemerang is ranged, so you could conceivably use both Bone moves together.

Nope, don't know the recruitment rates. When MD1 came out in the US, everything you could possibly need to know when it came to numbers had already been out for a long time. We're still in the dark about this one.

As for the game title, odds are they don't only refer to Mewtwo and Celebi. The first part of the game is about time, and the post-credits part is about darkness. Of course, there's also the fact that Mewtwo isn't exactly nice, so you could associate it with darkness if you stretch far enough.

Hey, a Beedrill joined my team yesterday as a reward for a mission. Does this occur often?

Oh, and I'm also curious as to how many items you can store at higher ranks. Right now I'm Silver, and I have room for 200 items.

I got the World Ends With You over this.
It's unique for sure. But I like all of the customizable options. I'm barely in the game however so I don't have much of a grasp on the story yet.

But having not played this second pokemon dungeon ( I did play the first) I can't say which one to get, but WEWY is very very cool.

I officially despise Mt. Bristle. The Doduo's and Starlies knowing quick attack, doing about 15-20 damage per hit, and Nidorin@s are something you do NOT do right in the start of the game.

I got bad news for you: unless you like doing lots of optional missions (like I do), it's going to go uphill from there. The thing that makes Mt. Bristle so hard from a theoretical standpoint, however, is that it's the last dungeon you have to do before being allowed to go back to previous ones to do missions and level up.

But it's all good: MD1 was too easy for the most part, and the major sources of difficulty were merely huge irritants. I'm looking at you, ghosts in Sky Tower.

Combat is sweet enough. In the beginning you get around three slots to equip "pins". In battle the pin does something. So like I equip this Ice pin, and whenever in battle I draw upwards, I make a fucking montrous Iceberg pop out of the ground. There are a ton of pins you can collect.

That's sweet right there, but then you control another person at the same time with the directional pad. You got to do certain inputs, and if pulled off correctly, you can get these super flashy unison attacks.

Then green puck thingy, a green light surrounds you, you do a combo, it sends it up to your partner, they get a damage boost, and if they do a combo too, then the green light goes back to you, and damage increases more. You keep doing that back and forth.

Lots of depth in combat, and what I've described might be overwhelming, but it gives it in bites to you. Although it'll still be tough at first. It gives you an auto thing for your partner though if needed. I recommend in the beginning just mashing on the directional pad while focusing on your character.

Give the game time too. It's pretty cool.

Yeah, sounds great. How are the stats, though?

So I'm in the middle of Steam Cave... the expedition segment's been really rough. I got Bidoof killed by two consecutive Silver Winds from a Venomoth, and nearly died myself after a Buneary's Frustration (fixed 45 damage with no IQ). A few floors left, and then it's the big guy. To be frank, I'm a little apprehensive of that fight... when I fought it in MD1 I had Bullet Seed and a third member, now I have to make due with Razor Leaf and the lone Torchic to back me up. But it's still a single target, so Sleep Powder should be of great assistance.
