New moves making it usable anyone?

mew moves would hopefully make it useable. Be cause just Seed Flare, Psychic, and HP Fire is pretty shallow move pool, Hopefully, it will get something to differentiate itself from Celebi

No, there won't be sadly. However I read at Bulbapedia yesterday, that there will be a Shaymin and Regigigas promotional movie giveaway in Japan to all those that preordered the ticket or something. You get to download a Shaymin and Regigigas onto your DS. Shaymin doesn't have any "movie" moves like Darkrai, however Regigigas does have them, 2 to be exact. Rock Slide and Icy Wind. Not that great but hey, we can now get Shaymin legitimately now!

Regigigas could learn Rock Slide legitimately anyway. That's lame as hell. They could've given it Explosion, just like its three underlings. Something that people would actually notice.

Definitely starts looking like Shaymin's getting an alternate version.

Anyway, as for the possibility of new moves... I'm wondering what the hell can salvage Shaymin at this point. Since they gave Roar of Time and Spacial Rend to Darkrai for seemingly no reason, is Shadow Force Shaymin around the corner? Just random speculation here, but if it turned out that way, what a letdown it would be. One, Shadow Force sucks (despite being a BIG improvement over Fly, Dig and Dive in the first place thanks to 120 power and hitting through Protect). Two, Shaymin's clearly special-based. Three, it doesn't have the special movepool to go "oh, that's enough specials, let's buff up physicals instead" like they did with Lapras.

By the way, the moveset posted for Shaymin seems to be bogus, as it's been erased from the page it's said to come from. Only thing that remains is the Micle berry.

Unless they make Shaymin's new form extremely good as in, it gets a huge shitload of new Special Moves, Shaymin will always remain a SubSeeder/SpecsShaymin, who will always be overshadowed by the better Grass types.
