I don't recall skipping a class on purpose, ever. I swear, discipline is criminally underrated these days.
I don't skip, I get suspended >_>. I like going to school though, its better then sitting on my ass at home. Even if I wanted to skip I can't because I already hit the limit of the days you can miss in my high school. >_>
I wouldn't know, as I never have skipped, but quite a few of the students at my school do.
Even with the gates and security guards.
They usually get caught, suspended for a few days, then come back and do it again.
My school isn't a "bad" one per se, but some of the students aren't the brightest.
For example, although the police station is directly across the street, some students dropped smoke bombs on the second-to-last week of school, and as a result, the principal overreacted and had police at school for the last week, and a few students were taken to the station.
The only time I've ever skipped school was because I was too lazy to run after the bus (which I do almost every morning). Other than that I've never skipped school or a class.
There are times I want to but I don't see the point as I go to sleep in class anyway (and still make all A's lol).
I can see myself skipping, but the only legit reason that would get me to skip is if it were with a girl. Yeah, that's about it.
Whenever I ditch, it's usually my 4th period (Spanish) so I can enjoy a second lunch with some of my friends. Other times here and there Ive had "doctor's appointments" that I just blow the rest of the day off, lol. :P
I didnt go to school for nearly 2 weeks back in January, though, which made me BOMB my midterms. Ditching a full day of school = fail >__>
I like high school a lot actually. I like it mainly because of the social aspect though. I might skip sometimes though because I get home late, and I might have a paper due the next day.
And other times, during some boring hours, me and my friends skip together so it's not that big of a deal. McDonald's is three minutes away.
