I can't really imagine that happening. I mean, it's not even an original idea considering Deoxys already did it. Maybe storyline implications, but nothing more.
Edit: Apparently, the "origin form" is what Giratina looks like when it moves between dimensions.

Hm, that does open up some interesting storyline implications. That means the Giratina we know is only like this in "our" dimension, and it could be something completely different in another.
