My dad lent me his electric guitar so I could practice. So far, I can barely play a chord, but I've only been practicing for about two days, so it's not that big a deal. My goal is to eventually be able to play "The Legendary Theme: Electric" from Gitaroo Man. >_>

Play the cello instead. It's smexier than guitar and you can hit people with the bow.

But yeah ... if it's anything like the cello at all, the notes will sound bad until you get some finger strength and a callus or two.
