I'm not a huge fan of all of Aesop Rock's albums, but his All Day Mix for running clocking in at about 45 minutes really works for what it is intended, and is generally a good piece of music. I am not that big on Devotchka, but I like a handful of the things you have mentioned here.
The real reason I posted again though, was to endorse {{{Sunset}}} - Bright Blue Dream, Ambient Garage Rock? Awesome.

Oh wow thanks for pointing off that band, I'm skimming through all of their songs right now, and it is something I'm going to come back for sure. I love laid back bands. Mmmm, I like Diamond Studded Caskets a bunch right now so far.
That is indeed Magi Nation. I've played the game since I was in grade school. I love both the game and the card game. If you care I made a Nar and Cald deck before the latest expansion that is on standby because they're releasing some show now. I've been off the card game for a couple years now.

Awesome! I'm really like Man's Hearts Complaint, and Old Sandy Bull Lee after 3 or so listens.
As far as your recent update goes, I'm a fan of the Appleseed Cast, Low Level Owl Volumes 1/2 are amazing, and Two Conversations and Peregrine while different, are also awesome. They are one of the bands that personifies 'good emo' to me.
Two other new releases i've enjoyed are 'The Oh Sees - The Master Bedroom Is Worth Spending a Night In' Really good, like {{{Sunset}}} it kind of has the garage rock feel, but it's more Psyche, to me.
Also, The Plastic Constellations - We Appreciate You is excellent, really energetic indie rock, a few screams here and there, really fun.

Pinback - I used to be a bigger fan of them, they have some really good song, but they do the same thing over and over on each album, and adding that with their earlier work being better is kind of disappointing. OFf the top of my head, I really like 'B' Penelope used to be one of my favorite songs as well, made even cooler by the fact it is about a fish.
Minus The Bear - Their vocals can be kind of ehh sometimes, but like Appleseed Cast they also pull of their brand of emo pretty well, I like a few of their songs a lot, Menos El Oso is a good album.
The Apples In Stereo - I really like them, I don't care that they did a music video and song for the power puff girls, they're fun. I always liked the idea of them as a band, but they have never really put out 'that' album. 'The Discovery Of A World Inside The Moone' is my favorite album of theirs.
I like Yeasayer, Sufjan, but there isn't to much to say about them. Same with Iron & Wine and Sea Wolf.

Okkervil River...the only real song by them I've listened to is "Just for Kicks", and some other song I don't know because my friend changed the name of it to when he gave it to me "Doc Okk". I really like "Just for Kicks though.
