Luck problems do suck.I have problems with stuff like accuracy, hell, I even have problems with ice fang missing constantly, then the opponent either faints my pokemon or gets it's HP down low enough from a critical hit in return. It's like the Haxdaunt situation from the Battle tower. Most people know that Guillotine has only 30 Acc, yet it always hit. When I got bored once, I decided to use a Crawdaunt using Guillotine holding a quick claw with the battle tower, and guess what happens next.

If you had guessed "Both do not work, resulting in you getting swept by a COM Haxdaunt in the 20th battle.", you'd be correct.

Of course my wonderful luck spreads into different games, like D&D. Out of all of the 16 attacks I had made last night, only TWO hit. My character almost died 4-5 times last night, twice from almost drowning while I swim (10 was passing. I rolled a 2, then a 5). Then the DM was being a dick and sent out a High-Level water elemental up against a level 2 Samurai w/o armor, and a level 2 ninja (me). We barely live from that, and says that we have to swim yet again. I fuck up here too, and almost drown again. In another moment of dickery, he sends another water elemental against level 2 mages (shadow caster and a war mage, or as we joke around now, our "meat shields", since they're the two with the lowest HP).

Mage dies due to a critical hit, I get dropped down from 9 HP to -3, thus knocking me out from a critical hit, and the Samurai goes to -8 from two criticals. My turn comes around, I try to stable myself, but I fail, dropping me down to -4 HP. We win in the end.

the above was right after we lost a Half-Orc Barbarian due to 2 critical hits from the enemy. Next game, I am going to keep tally marks of all the times the DM has gotten a critical hit, and all the times the players get a critical hit, because I swear that every time he rolls, I swear I see him use his finger to nudge it. Also, the last time any of the players got a critical hit was 3 games ago, while the DM gets at least 2 every time we play.

It's amazing how luck seemingly favors the same people over and over. For instance, if you've checked Disfunction's vids... you know what I'm talking about. As for me, I never really struggled with Stone Edge's accuracy, for instance. Of course, it means that one battle in PBR's Sunset Colosseum was karmic retaliation at its finest... but that's not the point.

Luck shouldn't matter in the end, and usually doesn't. It can cost you 1 or 2 pokemon, but in the end, if you outplayed them, you should win. (Please, don't be like Siege. He would leave battles I had against him when I was winning 6-3 and one attack missed)
