Ok, Sometimes when I work with a splice, I need to fill in the background white instead of black. But, on some pokemon, when you do this, the outline disappears. A good example of this is Mewtwo. I really like Mewtwo, but I fret to use him in splices because his outline disappears. And I'm not very good at free handing outlines on splices :/

Thanks.

Why do you have to change the background to black? I've never had to do that... Unless you mean to make the background transparent in which case black is a bad choice.

What about different colours? Would a Dark Green suffice for whatever you're doing?

I think I know the problem, the same thing happened to me when I moved to a different computer. If the sprite has a transparent background on the internet image when you copy/paste it into Paint it will gain a black background. Then when you fill it white, it fills all the black. The reason the outline stays on some sprites and not others is not all of them use pure black in the outline, just a really dark shade. Save the image then open it in Paint or use the "Copy From" option, and there should be no problem. If it doesn't work, you could always draw the outline back on.
