So the morning after a sleepover, I decided to ride my skate board down hill on the way to home. It didn't look that deep but it was certainly long. While riding, my board was wobbling a little. I though "oh shit", I knew I had to jump out. But because of how stupid I am, I had no idea how freaking fast I was going. When I jumped, I lost control and fell forwards sliding on the road about 2 feet. About half of the skin on the front of my hand got scraped off. I got huge scrapes on both my elbows and on the front of my hips. I quickly ran to my house which was about 4 blocks away. It felt horrible. The blood on my hands were the darkest I've seen.
That wasn't the bad part. I thought I had to just put some ointment and a bandage and all was well. But It appeared that I had a shitload of asphalt beneath my skin. And the doctor had to scrape every single piece out. It was horrible. The liquids she put on me felt like it was burning my hands. She scrubbed, and used a tool to take the asphalt out. Every second she touched my skin felt like someone was pinching me with their sharp nails. There were still a bunch of asphalt to be scrape, but I couldn't take it. I had to let the doctor stick a needle in both of my hands to inject some numbing liquid. It was hell.
The bad side about this:
- I have 7 bandages and my hands are wrapped in gauze. My right hand is bruised so much, it's nearly useless. I can't carry a jar of peanut butter with it
- I have a crap load of homework, and I can't write
- I could hardly type on the computer
- I can't climb my bunk bed
- I have to take a pill 4 times a day
- My weekend is gone
- I have to skip school tomorrow (I really don't like doing so because of the homework pile)
The upside to all of this is:
- The gauze on my hands makes me look like a boxer
