So I'm trying to get some extra Leftovers, and I'm not too hot on raising an army of Linoones to level 81 to do it. So that leaves wild Munchlaxes, who are rare as pope ****. Now, I keep hearing about how they're only in the tree by Valley Windworks, and how that's complete bull**** as well. I checked Psypokes, and they say that while it indeed is only in that one tree, it's the only Pok?mon you can get there, which is a load of BS. Thankfully, they have a 55% chance of carrying Leftovers, so if I get ahold of one it shouldn't be too hard, especially if whether it holds an item or not is rerolled along with gender and level by soft-resetting.

So, what's the truth on that matter?

Oh, really? Everywhere I check it's 55%.

And sorry, but I simply don't have what it takes to pay for those Phanpys.

No, thanks. For such a search to be worthwhile I'd need six of them, because it's a 1% chance when an item is picked up at all. And I have no clue what the rate of picking up an item is.

Besides, I don't want to hamper your own Pick-upping capabilities for nothing.

I believe an item is picked after each battle. Though don't quote me on that.

I have never once found a Munchlax by the Valley Windwork tree. And trust me, I put honey there for about a month straight.

Yeah, at one point I just gave up and traded for one.

But I'd really love those extra Lefties. What to do, what to do... training six Linoones, even traded, to level 81 is just ridiculous, and finding one Leftovers on average every 167 battles even with six Linoones is even moreso. Yeah, it'd be less time-consuming, even if it takes longer, to just slather the tree once or twice every day and hope for the best.

Oh, NOW I get a Heracross. That's just great, while I was going through the in-game part I wanted one so bad and could never find one, so I ended up trading for an egg.

From my understanding the thing about getting Heracross is that you can only get it from certain trees, and in any other tree if you were to get Heracross you'd meet Silcoon or Cascoon instead, depending on the version. And vice versa... man, I've seen so many Silcoons but just met my first Heracross now. I've got rotten luck.

BTW, which trees exactly have Silcoon/Cascoon and which have Heracross is unknown as of now - or should I say, no one compiled such a list yet.

I have 8 Leftovers, all but 2 found by my lvl 100 shiny Linoone from the Ruby/Sapphire berry timer fix event at the Pokemon Center in NYC from when it was still called that.

I can trade you as many as you need, I'd like TMs in return, preferably - Heart Scales will do otherwise, or you could just trade me Egg move pokes. I like collecting them for some reason.

I'm looking for three of them, actually.

Depends on what TMs you're looking for. Game Corner ones would be a breeze, naturally, since my wallet's almost full.

I'm guessing you have no access to R/S? The BT there is ridiculously easy and I have a massive number of Leftovers, Quick Claws, King's Rocks, and the like. Maybe I just played that Ruby BT too much...
