I had a similar reception when I got here. I titled my post "A Brief Introduction" and wrote a few short paragraphs explaining who I am, why I came and whatnot and then got greeted with the "if this is a brief statement, I'd hate to see your WOTs"
Anyways, welcome, feel free to rant and vent, I've got the strange feeling we'll get along fabulously.
Well, I must be doing something right with my WOTs, because people tend to read and respond to them (sometimes in great detail) anyway. I even got pestered many times by people looking forward to my next write-up.
And 200 posts, huh? Well, it's not like major things are being withheld for a while like on GameFAQs, so I don't really care.

I was joking, Slowpoke. If there's one thing you want to know, it's that I'm the type of person who makes a lot of wisecracks and joke posts. I act kind of slow and dimwitted for humorous effect.
Also, I know who you are quite well. I like your work, and am anxious to see any rants from you, as is everybody else.
