That is what they call me on most IFs. But sometimes, when Ray is already taken, I go by Rayne.
Oh and my shoddy name is Vergil because he's awesome.

One day, I thought my original name ChinchillaDragoon was a bit too common with all the other Chinchilla(add some noun here) SNs. So, I decided I'd create a new name! One that wasn't as long, nor as commonly misspelled - people put DragOn instead of DragOOn - as my previous name. I had no idea what it would be though.
Then, during freshman year, my friend started an RP with a notebook we passed around during class. I usually was the "bad" RPer as I waited till after class to write instead of doing it in class as was the intention. Anyway, I made up a name for my character as Esotu, based off my favorite game SO2, also known as Star Ocean: The Second Story.
From there, it just clicked. Why not switch my RP name with my SN?! So, I did. And now everyone calls me Eso for short. Yup. :3

When I was little I really liked the word Tao. Then as I got older I made it into Taoku. After a while though, I got bored of that name, but not before creating my GameFAQs username, Taoken, which I realize now looks too much like Token.
Then I decided to mix it with another word I liked. Pent, which means to store emotion usually, and it was also the name of my favorite sage of Fire Emblem. Thus; Pentaoku. However I didn't really like the "Ku" part so I cut it and now it's just Pentao. (Pen - Tao, but nickname; Pent not Pen). I do add the Ku in some MMOs though; i.e. Trickster Online, MapleStory when I used to play those.
That is the origin of Pentao.

You're Taoken?! Wow, I gotta say, thanks again for doing a RMT when I posted on GameFAQs. X3 I really appreciated your commentary.
Just a bit off topic, if you played Trickster and MapleStory, I wonder if you're also considering Secrets of the Solstice or Granada Espada.

Also, never heard about Secrets of the Solstice and I dunno about G-E.
I've wanted to play an MMO again for some time (2moons was a let down), but you know... in like 4-5 weeks I'm just going to get Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn and Super Mario Galaxy anyway.

I'm so sorry.
I just thought it was very funny because I thought the way it was pronounced was the same as the word "Taco".I started playing Shadow the Hedgehog. The final boss's name's Devil Doom, which was very nice to me. I thought of changing it. First became Dark Doom, then Omega Doom, and the last name became... Ominous Doom, because of the new ghost attack, Ominous Wind.
I was reading James Clemens' The Banned and The Banished at the time I registered on Gamefaqs and since it's a fantasy book, I just signed up as Fantasy. However, the name was already taken so I stuffed in a random T so I could still register there.

It is? For some reason I always thought the 'T' in your name would have a more... epic purpose.
I used king~of~hearts(19) for the longest time on anything I could: Starcraft, Diablo 2, Warcraft... then Gundam came along and took that from me, everyone thought I was calling myself the main character of which ever part of Gundam that was, but I just took it from the fact that I beat all my friends at Hearts when we played at lunch during middle school. There are still a bunch of different forums and games where I've gone by kingofhearts19, but I've basically shifted over to Ongakujin now.
As I got older, I thought it'd be better to change to a name that better suited who I am, since I'm nothing like the middle school kid I used to be. My life revolves around music, I play a bass that's a Music Man, and I am a Man that does Music. Kinda made sense to just have my handle as Musicman - I did it in Japanese because of my appreciation for the culture and the time I spent studying the Language and country, and the time I spent there.
As I got older, I thought it'd be better to change to a name that better suited who I am, since I'm nothing like the middle school kid I used to be.
