Basically, most mainstream anime are mediocre.
As for Naruto...it's way too childish for me. Plus I don't feel much for the characters or plot.

why does everyone like it?
I prefer stuff like Neon Genesis Evangelion, which I call the best anime ever, because its not linear crap. Great storyline, action, art, and brilliant characters that aren't stereotypical, but rather insecure and very lifelike.

Agreed, but Naruto isn't HORRIBLE. I will watch it occasionaly.
