Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu (The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya), hands down. A second choice would probably be either Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni or Kyo no Go no Ni (Japanese titles ftw).

Oh and FMA is awesome as a whole but I didn't like the ending.
