Don't leave yet, Starly3! I tested out Torchic in tier 6 and even did a mini-sweep on a team with it!

Hasty ? 200 Atk, 100 SpAtk, 208 Speed

~ Reversal
~ Flamethrower
~ Swords Dance
208 speed EVs allows Torchic to hit 390 speed after Agility, outspeeding Adamant Arbok with a Choice Scarf, which is the fastest notable non-doubled speed. Alternatively, you can use 156 speed EVs to outspeed Adamant Larvitar after two Dragon Dances. The trick to using this is to use Agility on the first turn. If your Focus Sash has been activated, use Swords Dance until it is. In low health, both Reversal (due to the move's effect) and Flamethrower (due to Blaze) are boosted.
It's been wonderful so far. I urge you to at least stick around and watch your little flame chick work wonders.

Come on, Starly. Unlike you, I don't contribute anything useful to this site, have barely any comprehnsion of standard metagame, and can't debate worth crap, but even I stay around. And besides, we like all the Snapple.
