Is it possible to change the scoring now? With team set ups the way they are, it is probably better to have either one of two options:

1: Draws count for points. Similar to point scoring in hockey and soccer standings, it gives teams credit for playing well, but not getting the win. In this case, I propose we award 2 points for a win, none for a loss, subtract a point for getting swept, and no additional points awarded for sweeping - as the award is already in the penalty of the other team.

2: Tie-breakers. Keep the scoring the way it is, including sweep rules, but instead add a tie-breaker match, between two winning trainers from the match ups, chosen at random. For example, Team Fantasy vs. Team Hope, week 1, random(gameboy3333 or Ongakujin) vs. random(Novkris or Jth). I realize it's not as balanced in all cases with experience and all, but it also puts more weight on every single match, since you really want to win 3 matches so you're not forced to have a mismatch such as could be the case in this situation.

We can't judge how close a match was by how many pokes were left most of the time. The match may have been a 4-0, but at one point it may have been a, "You sweep me or I sweep you" sort of situation. So it may actually have been a lot closer than it appears.

So you're saying if we were to do a tie-breaker kind of thing it should be a random choice of all the members of the team?

Thing is, this is just the the regular season. For now, I'll get rid of the "sweeping bonus", but what really matters is your teams score after ten weeks.
