I. Summary

The Metagross Cup is a 10-week league in which the players will compete for their team which they have placed in. After the nine weeks, the playoffs being. The top four teams will enter a bracket, in which the top seed will face the fourth, and the second will face the third. The series will be a 3 out of 5, with the captains ALWAYS playing game five.

II. Schedule

Each of the regular season series will be a week long, starting at 12:00 AM EST on the week's Monday, no matter what, and finish the Following Sunday, at 11:59 PM EST.

Here is the weekly schedule:

Week 1 (10/08 & 10/14)- Tier 2 standard
Week 2 (10/15 - 10/21)- Tier 1 standard
Week 3 (10/22 - 10/28)- Tier 2 standard
Week 4 (10/29 - 11/04)- Tier 3 standard
Week 5 (11/05 - 11/11)- Tier 4 standard
Week 6 (11/12 - 11/18)- Tier 2 standard
Week 7 (11/19 - 11/25)- Tier 1 standard
Week 8 (11/26 - 12/02)- Tier 2; mono-type teams only
Week 9 (12/03 - 12/09)- Tier 6 Standard
Week 10 (12/10 - 12/16)- Tier 3 standard

This means that playoffs begin on December 17, which is the last week of school for most students, so people should have plenty of time to battle over winter break.

*If a match is not completed, it is therefore null and counted as a loss

*Disconnecting when you are losing is not acceptable, and your team will be rewarded with a (-1)

IV.Season Rules

*New joiners are not allowed after the teams are made

*All battles will take place on the Official Server (unless someone wants to go in and edit our mod file with the correct Grass Knot formula, we have no choice).

*Stalling matches by refusing to choose a move is not allowed. However, you are allowed to select your pokemon/moves to legally stall as long as you possibly can. I recommend NOT doing this if you want to make any friends, though.

*Spectating matches are allowed, unless you or one of your teammates will be facing that person

*Switching teams once every week is allowed.

V. League Rules

*Unless otherwise specified, all battles will be played in accordance with TLF's tier list. You may use any pokemon from lower tiers than the weekly rules specify, but you may not use any pokemon from higher tiers.

*Register and use a nickname that starts with [TLF] so that we know whose matches we are not allowed to watch.

*If there is a Shoddy error that disconnects both players, the battle must be re-fought with the same teams (same moves not required) unless one player admits defeat willingly.

*If there is a glitch in Shoddy's programming (ability programmed incorrectly, pokemon allowed to use illegal movesets, etc) that somehow affects your match, deal with it. If you feel you lost because of it, try again next week.

*When in doubt, the staff member hosting the tourney gets the final call on all decisions.
