Here it is. The biggest goal I've made. It isn't making an analysis, hell, getting contributor. It's setting up this.
Here's the deal. 8 teams, 4 members per team. 8 captains. I'll select captains to try to make this as fair as I can, or if you want to, PM me.
After we have captains selected, we draft. Yeah, that's right. Using a random number generator, we figure out who goes first, and it'll be a snake draft. Meaning, whoever gets the first selection in round one will have the last in round 2, and so forth.
After the teams are made, I'll set a schedule. Just like baseball, you'll have a pitching rotation, and you'll have a 3 game series once per week. This means one person will sit out that series. This means that that person will make the first start.
After every team has faced each other at least once or twice(How long do we want this to be) we tally up the total of each team. The 4 teams with the best totals will make it to the playoffs. The Best team will face the worst that made the playoffs, and then you have the middle teams.
In the playoffs, it would be a series. Four matches will be required, and if the series ties, it means the captains face off.
The type of play that we would do in this league would be standard, all pokemon allowed. Standard clauses will be involved.
A reward will probably added, and this whole plan could take about half a year.
What does everyone think?

Anyways, fantastic idea, just one question. Would this be Shoddy or WiFi?
Oh, and just for a random suggestion (note that I have NO IDEA who you want for captains), it might be better if the Captains are lesser known people/battlers just to prevent some of the higher ups from choosing higher up friends.
P.S. I'm not advocating myself for captain or insulting the other guys, but lets be honest, when it comes to competition, whats the likelyhood TPX doesn't choose Phiddle, or whoever isn't a capt.

Listen, higher-ups would choose friends just like anyone else.
; Just because you're (not you, but you know the sense I'm using it in) less known doesn't mean you're any different. Uhhh, I never said higher-ups wouldn't choose friends, in fact I said they WOULD.
Also, your proving my point. So what if lesser knowns choose higher-ups? That's good. True, they may turn out to be fantastic battlers, but they probably won't be on the same level as the best here.
Now if all the best here are captains, there will still be a few left over (just an exaple, FDX or Phiddle). Then in the first round, guys like Ruesap and TPX will sweep them up, and slightly unbalanced teams have just been created.
Lesser knowns just decrease the chances of a Phiddle, TPX, Ruesap, FDX team occuring (sorry for you other guys, I'm just these 4 as an example >_>).
I don't have anything against them, I just think it will be SLIGHTLY fairer.
