And, this is good for a beginning sketch. Might I suggest narrowing the neck as it approaches Lugia's head? It looks like you were going for the perspective that his head is jutting more toward the audience than the rest of his body, but it appears a bit awkward without the proper shading underneath the frontal neck/chin area to portray that effect. Also, the legs seem to be "missing" behind the wings; even if the arms are covering the majority of the legs from view, a toe or foot should still be present with the current wing size.

Good job on the pose. It's great to see a sketch that isn't an exact "photocopy" of an existing image.
