Now, we all hate scammers, and D/Cers.
So, unlike at gamefaqs, where everything is purged instantly, we should have a scammer and d/cer list.

If you D/C or are accused of it, we'll add your username, FC, and name, and if you scam, we'll add your FC and name, so you don't pull this crap again. The only way you get off this list is if you're proved not guilty of whatever you did (for instance, if the person who accused you of scamming was lying, then you'll be taken off this list).

**NOTE: since there is really no need for this topic until we get more people, just let this be left around until there is more activity and stuff like that
mods, don't close this up or something like that, this is in case of emergency and whatnot

So it's a blacklist, right? The problem with such things is that one is held guilty until proven innocent, and there are people who would add you to the Black list out of malice (say you beat them fair and square, but they claim you hack) or of misunderstanding (such as their thinking you had, say, a pokemon with an Emerald-tutor move, and they couldn't find said move on Serebii, or if someone's internet cuts out mid-game, which has happened to me often).

The main problem is that it usually boils down to one's word against another, since it's difficult to actually prove anything over a message board.

Also, I believe there should be levels of infraction, and that one should not be placed on the black list for a first offense: let's say a perfectly legit player, someone who plays fair, accidentally breaks sleep clause once. Seems pretty unfair to sully such a battler's name by placing it on this list.

The premise is good--keeping people from pulling crap--but the list itself needs to be, I dunno, more defined.

Yeah, I agree, but I meant that we add you if accused under Unsure, meaning that we'll investigate if you are a scammer/dcer, and if you are a guilty, you go on the blacklist. I hope that clears everything up.

If they can have a respected member of libelldra, or alot of people say that they do or not DC, or scam then that should decide if they go on the list.
