Writing assignment
Well here it is...
-----The tracks in the forest were bigger than anything either of them had seen on their adventures. But that?s not important at the moment. Lets first look at how they got into that forest.
Mario, a talkative, hammer wielding kid, who has the ability to jump over 10 feet, and Link, a mute, sword wielding elf of the Shilka forest, neighboring the Tayyick forest, were sent on a mission by Maroshino, their master, to the Tayyick forest. Mario and Link had to rid the forest of a monster that villagers had complained was roaring and causing earthquakes all night long.
-----Maroshino figured that Mario and Link where the best for the job. So, he put Mario on a plane from Italy to Tayyick. Link just walked over to Tayyick from Shilka. Maroshino met them at the Tayyick entrance and readied them for their quest.
-----?Your current weapons will not fair you well if the rumors are true about this monster,? Maroshino stated firmly.
-----?Wha-a-at my trusty hamma won?t do why ? that ain?t fair,? Mario yelled as he jumped up a tree.
-----?Get him? NOW? Maroshino hinted at Link. Link nodded in approval. Link then ran up to Mario?s tree and slashed it with his sword multiple times his sword broke by the 6th slash. The tree broke into multiple pieces Mario fell out of it and the instant his hammer hit the ground the head of it immediately shatters.
-----?My point?? Maroshino said. Mario and Link just nodded in sorrow. ?I think these will fair you much better.? Maroshino handed Link a silver sword with a purple handle with a red eagle with a blue shield emblem on the handle. He handed Mario a pitch black hammer with a golden handle.
-----Both of their eyes lit up with joy.
?WOW Thanks,? said Mario while Link just nodded.
?? Well ?GO!!!? Maroshino stated incredibly firm.
?Kay,? Said Mario, Link again just nodded as the two of them headed into the forest.
-----Upon entrance it seemed that it had just turned from day to night it was black as Mario?s hammer.
That is where this story begins. There was a footprint that was 5ft by 5ft. The two of them stared in shock at the size. Link unsheathed his sword and braced himself for what was to come.
Mario also lit a fire with two sticks. The two of them continued into the forest until they saw a small bear growling.
-----?That can?t be it? Can it?? Mario quickly threw the idea into air. Link shook his head as if saying ?No it can?t.?
-----They ignored the bear. They continued into the forest until a Turtle like creature holding a hammer, identical to Mario?s, came and smacked Mario on the head.
The Turtle then said ?Do you seek knowledge about the forbidden creature??
Mario then said ?Is one that the left the foot prints that??? dizzily I might add.
The Turtle said ? Uhm? the foot prints? that?s the one.?
Mario, still dizzy, replied ?Wanna ?bout know that we do,?
The Turtle replied ?Follow me? Mario and Link followed it with their weapons unsheathed the whole way.
-----The Turtle lead them further through the forest they heard roaring and felt the ground shaking. They got scared. After passing two bears, three 10 foot snakes, of which Link was scared of, he swiftly decapitated them with his sword.
They finally came up to a cave, Mario bounded on the ground with his hammer at the cave?s entrance. He heard roaring. They entered anyway. Out of fear Link threw a sharp stick and heard an earsplitting roar from inside the cave.
The Turtle said ?He is in here? and then said ?ok? Thanks bye!!? quite swiftly. And then The Turtle ran with a cowardly look on his face.
Link and Mario continued through the cave until they finally came upon a 47 foot tall plant with a red head and roots with a maximum length of 10 feet and some that had a 5 foot by 5 foot base. This plant was roaring with its Venus Fly Trap like mouth, and shaking the ground with its roots
They both nodded at each other as if confirming this already obvious fact that this was it
-----They prepared for the fight they knew it would be a long one.
Mario jumped up to a small ledge on the wall then another one then another until he was 50 feet high. He then jumped one more time being about 7 feet above the monstrous plant. Mario then jumped and smacked the plant on the head with his hammer. The plant merely fell to the ground.
They both knew it wasn?t dead Link looked up at Mario and nodded. He then slowly walked into its mouth rapidity slashing the plant?s insides until it finally breathed its last breath and roared its last roar.
Mario waited 20 minutes for Link to come out. He finally ran inside of the plant and noticed Link fainted on the floor inside the plant and dragged him out. Mario then splashed Link with water from the nearby Libelldra River, where many Tayyickians waited to congratulate the two of them.
Phrases such as ?Did they do it, is it dead???? and ?Wow they actually succeeded wow that?s a surprise,? where coming from the crowd.
-----Maroshino then came out of the crowd and said ?Congrats boys, I didn?t think you had it in you. But you did succeed. So? your reward is the pride of helping these innocent people?? Mario and Link gave him a look as if saying ?WHAT ALL THAT FOR PRIDE WHAT THE HECK.?
-----Maroshino said ?Just kidding, Geez. You each get to keep the weapons and I guess these people owe you something like a buffet? Mario and Link?s eyes lit up, both of them liked food and they also loved the new weapons. They went back to Tayyick only to be greeted by 100 feet of buffet tables with everything from Turkey to Lamb to Corn to Potatoes.
