Welcome to the Writing Workshop, where our winsome works of wondrous fiction will woo whomever wanders amidst our walls, while our wily wordplay and wholesome wisdom win the wonder of women worldwide! Or men, if you wish.

Of course, as with any online forum, there are certain guidelines that we ask you to follow, so that our workshop may flourish.

1) Plagiarism

This is a simple rule- DON'T DO IT. kthxbai!

To those who are concerned with having their own work stolen... By choosing to publish your work on the internet, you are opening yourself to the same risk as those authors who post on even larger, more well-known sites. You may want to include a notice of copyright/ownership with any works you're particularly proud of, although the power of such a notice is questionable at best. For the most part though, the writing community has managed to succeed on a system or integrity, and we can only hope that we will be no different.

2) Content

As writing is an art and a medium of free expression, the censorship on this site will be kept to a minimum. Please just observe the following guidelines:

*Avoid excessive swearing, violence, and sexual images when they are unnecessary. Of course, it is understood that sometimes these themes are essential to creating believable characters, so they will be accepted when appropriate. If it seems like you're writing solely for the purpose of being explicit though, we will ask you to edit/remove your story.

*Please treat sensitive issues (racism, sexism, abuse, rape, murder, drug usage, various tragedies) with care and respect. Again, it is understood that such themes are sometimes essential to certain stories, but we wish to avoid offending people unnecessarily. Use your best judgment.

*If you do post a story with any of the aforementioned questionable content, please include a clear warning at the top of your post that indicates what sort of offensive material is included.

*If your story is purely erotic fiction, this is not the place for it. There are other sites devoted solely to that genre.

*When in doubt, send me a PM. I'll get back to you within a day.

3) Reviews, Comments, and Criticism

We encourage you to leave helpful, constructive reviews on every story you read! These kinds of comments are of great help to writers! Just keep in mind:

*General praise is welcome, but actually saying WHAT you liked about a piece is much more helpful than just saying it was good. Details, details, details!

*Criticism is welcome, but needs to be constructive. If you find a character to be too bland or a setting to be too clich?, then say so. Those kinds of comments are helpful. Do NOT leave messages just to say "This sucks," or "Boring!" as those comments are worthless.

*I should not see "tl;dr" appear anywhere on this forum. Ever.

Now that that's out of the way, feel free to pull up a chair, get yourself a drink, and make yourself at home.

Alright, I'm going to post a "fable" that is all normal, unless you look at it in the wrong perspective. Is that all right? If not, just delete it. I'll put spoilers so people know what they will read.
