Dressing up as a janiter makes the most sense.
What pokemon do you even have anyways?
I kind of lost track. |
Bidoof, Skorupi, Pachirisu (levitates,) and the mysterious pokemon egg. (It's making sounds, it's about to hatch soon!)
|
Bidoof is still alive? *rereads story*
The egg is hatching too? While being chased by Smogonites?
Oh goody this story is heating fast.
|
I'm planning on making Bidoof play a crucial role in the rescuing of Dawn. >_>

A
want to find out the secret behind the doors.
Bidoof being a hero?
I like it.
A wins.
Nervously, you reach your hand out to the labeled door. You examine the desolate hallway one last time. Seeing no one is following you, you slyly sneak inside.
The only light emitting from the room inside is a tiny fluorescent lamp behind a glass pane. Drawn to the light like a Mothim, you press your face against the glass, viewing the assembly line on the other side.
A computer sits next to you, <programchip.exe> dimly flashing in the top corner. As your eyes are drawn back to the assembly line, you realize what is going on.
Robotic arms softly whirr and buzz behind the glass, minuscule claws and welding torches slowly piecing together microchips. A small robotic torch engraves serial numbers into each one.
As you walk along the line, you see a pair of robotically-operated pincers attaching and welding an antenna, no larger than a butterfly's, to the tip of each chip. The chips then pass into a hole that leads to the neighboring room. You wonder how these chips function, and what their purpose to Smogon University is.
What do you do?
[A] Go into the next room so you can see the function of these chips.
[B] Find the leader of Smogon, its more important to rescue Dawn.
[C] Fool around with the computer in charge of programming the chips.
[D] Find the purpose of the chips, then reprogram them.

Fooling with the chips could be so much fun, but I am so interested in what Smogon and chips exact purpose are....
A for me.

Ooh, tough choice... I'll choose A
A wins.
Overcome by curiosity, you open the door and peer inside. This room is much bigger and louder, although just as dark as the last room. The assembly line continues through the glass, now travelling along a much more intricate conveyor belt path. The chips are ported onto three major belt paths, labeled TESTING, PROGRAMMING, and SHIPPING. Each of the belts roll the chips along into three different rooms. You decide to check out the TESTING room.
You walk through a glass door into the room with the belts. You can see where you were standing moments ago through the viewing screen. You carefully sneak towards the test site.
The room is still just as dark as the previous, robotic voices can be heard mumbling. You walk closer to the voices, just able to make them out.
Seven humans were standing in the corner of the room, a distant look about their faces. A robotic arm was swivelling behind them, inserting and removing chips in and out of their neck. A computer sits in front of each human.
Whenever a chip is inserted, the human suddenly raises its head and focuses on the screen in front of them. A voice emits from the computer.
"*What tier is Registeel universally considered to be in?*"
The human input the answer on the keyboard.
"*That is correct.*"
"*Your opponent sends a Starmie onto the battlefield. What is the Smogon-approved counter of Starmie, and what move should be used to counter it?*"
Again, the human entered the answer on the keyboard.
*"That is correct. Correct Moveset knowledge. Chip approved.*"
The robotic arm removes the chip and set it on a conveyor belt. Immediately, the human begins to spasm and shout. You notice they are all gagged. The human calms down again when another chip is inserted into them. They regain the blank look and re-focus on the screen. The same questions are asked.
So this is Smogon's ploy! To control the minds of the population so they can relay their "perfect" Pokemon strategies into everyone in the world! You connect the information you have just learned with the info you have gathered in the past.
Technology. This is the technology Smogon has needed to expand its members. You recall the day Dawn was kidnapped.
"Exactly. We will start from scratch. Soon, only our kind will populate the Earth."
So this is what the kidnappers were talking about. They were talking about these brain-washing chips. But how are they sending the information to the chips? Satellites, maybe... THE SATELLITE DISHES! In the front of the building! That's how they have been controlling people through the chips!
You mull over this information you have discovered. What should you do?
[A] Read the diary, maybe it's the key!
[B] Examine the other rooms, more info = good!
[C] Find the leader's office, that's where Dawn is held!
[D] Reprogram the chips, an army of brain-washed zombies could be at your command!

Ah darn choices!
D sounds awesome, but I love all of these Smogon references.
B, so we learn more of their purpose, how they round up all people to have the chips and such.
Neat how this a tied together though.

Id like a mix of all 4 to be honest.
If not, D sounds Cool.
But then A or B could lead the story further.
I say leave dawn be. She'll be fine
