"Torly, come on! We've got to catch that Salamence!" Torly nods its approval of the idea. You rush through the giant, dragon-shaped hole, hot on the trail of the Pokemon.
You run out to the concrete hallway, just managing to catch a glimpse of Salamence's tail as it rounds the corner into the hallway. "Torly, stop him!"
Torly levitates up into the air, and a ring of deep purple matter swirls around his head. It suddenly lurches forward and chases the Salamence around the corner.
At the corner, you see what Torly has done. A force field has engulfed the Salamence, trapping it in a bubble. "Great! Torly, I need you to weaken it. Don't kill it. Do you understand?" Torly stares at the Salamence. It suddenly stops struggling against the force field, and drops to the ground. You pull out an ultra ball and capture it.
"Torly! Did you see that? I caught it! We caught it!" Torly, however, does not look well. He suddenly collapses.
"Torly? What's wrong?" You shake him, but nothing happens. Creating the force field must have exhausted him! He needs help!
What do you do?
[A] Sneak out of Smogon University and visit a Pokemon center! [B] See if there's anything in your pack that will help! [C] Torly'll be fine, he's indestructible! Go check the guard for clues!
"Oh, come on! Man up, Torly!" You haphazardly stuff Torly into your sack. (Starly3 would not approve.) You rush back towards the guard to search for clues.
As you enter the hallway, you are suddenly overwhelmed by the similarity of the plaques on the doors. They all seem the same! Why hadn't you marked the door when you'd left?
You contemplate your problem. An immense clue may be on that guard, but how do you find him? Which door was it?
[A] Just go with your gut and hope you aren't discovered. [B] Open all of the doors until you find the correct passage. [C] Attend to Torly's health problems first.
Your sack begins to shake. You crane your head and see Torly struggling to breathe. You realize what a serious state he's in, and make healing him your first priority. You dump the entire contens of your sack out. A potion, 3 Ultra Balls, the journal, a revive, and some candy falls out. You quickly begin working.
First, you feed Torly the revive. He weakly swallows it, and lays his head on the concrete ground. You spray the potion on Torly. Small beads of moisture accumulate on Torly's feathers, but are quickly absorbed through the skin. Realizing there is nothing else you can do, you gently lay Torly back in your sack.
You gaze around at the strikingly similar doors. You decide that the best thing to do is start looking through all of the doors. You turn the knob of the first. Inside the room, an entire library of computers are dimly blinking. They are apparently encoding the chips; OVERTHROW SMOGON'S LEADER is quickly being typed in neat columns across each screen. This door is obviously the wrong one.
The door on the other side of the hall holds an enormous generator. You gaze around, but nothing catches your eye. Nothing, that is, except for an immense amount of blood on the wall. Should you check it out?
[A] No way, it's just blood! Nothing extraordinary. Go find the clue on the guard! [B] Check out the blood, it seems suspicious. [C] Stick your finger in the generator.
