When High School started, I was accepted into the prestigious IB program. IB is a step above AP... it's called "International Baccalareute" (sp?) and it's a program of pwnage, very select, about only 100 incoming freshman are allowed every year. So anyway, I was one of the few that was accepted, but because my dad wanted me to become a doctor, he sent me to Med High, the #22 school in the nation. Med High has a "Pre-Acceptance" program which allows you to be automatically accepted into Baylor or any college if you maintain an average of the top 10%. Well, Med High's environment sucked. In the whole week I was there, I made no friends, the classes sucked, the people and students and teachers sucked, they were unprofessional, and on top of that I was so fucking depressed I was in Pre-Ap, because I felt lke I was demoted. The work was easy, but school sucked. It was like waking up every morning to a job you hate. Not a day went by that I missed IB, my friends, my life... and my dad did this all to me because his damn friend told him about Med High. But finally after seeing how depressed I was, with a little intervention from my stepmom, I was put back in IB. Today is the happiest day of my life. Never had I understood people who are so happy they cried, not until today. I cried the whole way there.

tl;dr

"too long; didn't read."
1. The inability to accept, understand or pay attention to information when not separated by a header.
2. The ability to arbitrarily read 400 small posts but not a long one.
3. A sign of ADD or lack of reading capability.
4. A very cheap response and an indication of lack of wit.
5. 90% of the time: A lie.
6. A desperate attempt at a comeback used by people who just can't think of one.
7. Usually used by people who've been torn apart verbally but want one last attempt at looking witty.
8. Total failure at #7.
7. A sign that, not only is someone too lazy and stupid to read but, clearly, too lazy and stupid to even type out four words indicating such.
9. Collect every "tl,dr" post online, and you'll have a good estimate of the number of lazy idiots on Earth, who currently have Internet access.
10. Should really be:
"Too Lazy, Don't Read."
or,
".....I got nut'n!"

lol @ Forte, or can I say Bass

In HS I mainly did AP classes only. Ended up with like a 4.8 (our district's GPAs were as inflated as hell) and enough college credits to basically skip freshman year. Still, my transcript wasn't really impressive, but my first choice of school was in-state.

anyway, gratz on getting into IB, that takes a lot of intelligence.

Is there something wrong with liking school?

Personally I enjoy it much more than vacation. Gawd, it is overrated if you have too much of it. >_>

Erm, I'm in my Junior year, and I'm taking 6 APs. Is that bad?

Anyways, I'm going to Brown, so I beat all of you.

EDIT: Going to Oxford, I win.
